Anastasia, I entered this and highlighted it pink so we remember to let Ashley know when we use it. She will then update the value on the main SS.

I also entered the info needed for Ashley in a new Captain's chat - see the next message.

Jazzy Lemon (jazzylemon) | 823 comments Aw I didn't get to do anything for the game.

I'm a single lady with a grown son I care for, but he won't go places with me usually as he doesn't leave the house and rarely spends any time with me at all - unless i'm trying to practice music, of course!
Then he wants to show me all the funny things he saw online that day. We have two lovely cats, Lucy Diamond and Gavroche. He couldn't function without his cats. So I let him do all the feeding and cats are VERY food motivated so they love him a lot because he feeds them. During term time I am playing music with different groups at least 4 times a week, but next week school lets out for summer, so no classes (except Friday) for 6 whole weeks! Although we do have a few performances lined up.

I studied my French lessons, watched 3 blu rays by myself, had an ice lolly and a sandwich for my tea. I saw THEM! (1954), Publich Enemy (1931) and finally Jim Jarmusch's The Limits of Control (2009).

And I read 3 books. I had to go on the bus to donate some books to Amnesty book shop, and to donate some of my dresses (I never wear trousers) to the Cat's Protection Charity shop. I bought a second-hand CD player (Cash Converters), 10 CDs for £1 (British Heart Foundation). and the first two films I watched today (CEX).

Jazzy Lemon (jazzylemon) | 823 comments Oh and I also got a Pink Lemonade Magnum Ice Lolly. I bought 3 but Malachi ate the other two. And England drew in the match today with Sweden.

haha i feel like 'rub it in alreaady!' .About 14 years ago or so when Mally was young, we were talking with one of my friends and he said, i'm off to have dinner with my father. Directly after he left, my son said, Rub it in already - you HAVE a father!

Keli | 110 comments I've finally posted my first two books for this challenge. I filled in as much as I could. Not sure about words or cover. Although, there's really nothing on the covers of either book. So that's currently moot. But I will check the text for words.
Feels good to finally add something!

Jessica Lowe (jeslowe115) | 188 comments I finished my first book for the challenge. Can someone please log it for me (I don't want to mess up the SS)?

Credence by Penelope Douglas.

487 pages.

The book I finished on 7/1 isn't countable. I started it before the challenge.

For the cover portion you can just put what's on the cover like, 1 person on cover, water, house, running...even if it's something small like tree or rock.

For the word portion, you can leave that blank.

Werewolf: The True Story of an Extraordinary Police Dog (2021) - David Alton Hedges 392pp
Werewolf The True Story of an Extraordinary Police Dog by David Alton Hedges

Very busy day yesterday, we rehearsed for our gig at Saltburn on Saturday and recorded an advert for The Metro in the morning with the Tyneside Mandolin Orchestra, and had a full on rehearsal for Never to Old to Rock before our gig next week at the Three Tuns.
Then I came home and watched Summer of '42. I hadn't realised Herman Raucher died on the 28th of December 2023. How sad. He was 95.
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/09/mo....

We've got a gig today with our ukulele band and a local choir, but started a new book too! It's cold and rainy - supposed to last all day. Good thing I like rain.
