The Princess Bride by William Goldman

Since William Goldman wrote the screenplay, he gets credit being on either list. I do think the casting is one for the ages and the movie brings the book to life in an amazingly complementary way. My favorite movie ever. Have fun storming the castle!

Excellent audiobook! Incredibly funny and self-aware. This book made an early summer travel day glide by. Equal parts reverential and critical, it holds up well twenty years later. The They Might be Giants score to the audiobook is an excellent collaboration.
