Option 1
9. Small town
Read a book set in a small town

Book: Help! I'm the Big City Boy in My Christmas Comfort Movie
Pgs: 234
Qualifies: From the précis "Filled with found family in a small town where it's always Christmas"
Read: 6/7
Rating: 3 stars
Review: well, that was unexpected and odd. Actually unexpected and odd fits the whole book, from the premise, to the candy cane scene, to the fact that Ben had no previous attraction to men to him immediately having sex with Matthew, to the resolution. I think since Matthew was kind of reliving a movie I didn't really get invested in the story. And I didn't really feel their connection since Ben apparently fell in love with any stranger who crashed a silver car in his town. So, I didn't love it, but I'm intrigued enough that if there was another book set in the Halloween town I would totally read it.

I agree with everything you wrote. It also surprised me how Ben went from zero attraction to men to jumping Matthew like a pro in 5 minutes. But it was all weird and fun enough that I would read a second book. Maybe the next will be about Ben's brother?

Him with a cute goth guy!

Yes, would love that! The Valentine town is probably funny too.

Option 1
12. Glasses / gloves / hat / bag / phone / watch
Read a book with one of these items on the cover.
Sunglasses will count as 'glasses'. Winter gear such as mittens and beanies will work for 'gloves' and 'hat'. 'Bag' will also cover luggage/backpacks.
A clock will NOT work for watch. The items need to be things that may be packed for a holiday or travel.
In the case of 'phone', cell-phones (mobiles) count. I will also allow a handset that you would find in an office/home or a payphone, as these may be used to book holidays, flights, etc.
As proof, please post the edition's bookcover in your selection post that shows the items described above.
Please ask if you are not sure.

I've not read the others in the series, but been excited about this one since I saw it so seemed like perfect timing ☺️

Review:
I've got mixed feelings on this one, I enjoyed parts so much but there was something missing. Also both MCs are pretty annoying and frustrating at times, even the alternating povs didn't help as they both come across as jerks at points.
Bobby & Jimmy have incredible chemistry, their bond is wonderful even before the romance starts and I enjoyed the slow burn reveal of feelings. Those first kiss scenes are stunning with all the emotions.
The affection and intimacy, lingering looks and hands - hugs and just all of the comfort. These two certainly compliment one another well, I adored their relationship it's the rest of the story that was frustrating.

Review: I've read some of the other books in the series, so it was nice to revisit characters from previous stories, especially Lucky and Tooth. I loved Trig and his relationship with his brothers in the club. I'm not sure I liked El, and I think Trig could do better. I don't understand why he bothered stalking and protecting El. I'm glad El decided to embrace club life at the end, mostly for Trig's sake.

Review:
I had vaguely remember reading this book last year but I had never moved it off my tbr or wrote a review. As I was reading it, parts of the story resurfaced for me but main did it blow my socks off again. Their love is fast spaced but once you understand their history it makes so much sense. I do feel like they are left at a cliffhanger. I would have loved an epilogue that looked a couple of months forward but I guess you learn a little more about them in the next book.

Review: I was really looking forward to this book. I was honestly a little disappointed, that said it was still a good book. There was a lot more sex than I expected, I guess I expected more build-up, but they jumped into bed (figuratively speaking) super fast. They seemed a bit mismatched, but got through any issues with that a bit too easily. I don't know, I guess I needed more tension.

Review: My rating may be a little harsh. I just don't think this book will be particularly memorable. It was cute and had some funny moments - it reminded me more of Lucy Lennox books than other Charlie Cochet books. The murder birds made me laugh since I am constantly dodging murder cats.

Recview:
This was a short cute book. From the beginning, they were perfect for each other. The flowers having meaning and being a part of their relationship were absolutely adorable. The minimal angst was an interesting plot twist but disnt last long. Moved a little fast but that's the Walker way.

What a wonderful finish to this series! Daisy’s story might just be my favorite. Matthew’s unrequited love and Daisy finally seeing what was in front of her was so sweet. I’m sorry to say goodbye to the Wallflowers. The friendship between the women was just as fun to read about as the romance.

Review: I love the Wilde family so I really wanted to like this one too. Stevie was very quirky and funny, but I can see why some people would find him annoying or rude. I liked Evan, and I liked him with Stevie, maybe a longer book would’ve worked out better for them.
