The number was to start with so there would likely be an option for all 25 tasks. But it's totally okay to remove the books (and get below 50) as you go, so as books get finished.

Do you still have enough books on your shelf to choose from for the remainder of the tasks?

If the bride is considered a mail-order bride within the story, it does not matter who sent or asked her to come to the destination.
