I think it should start with the third to the last scene in which David and Kyle talking (for the second time) in prison. The movie will keep flashing back as David and Kyle talk, so most of the movie is really that scene as people find out why David is talking to Kyle and what happened. ON TUESDAY MORNING I was in the visitation room just after nine o’clock and I was watching for Kyle when a guard brought him in and he sat down. He looked scared . . . as if he were really glad there was Plexi-glass between us. I picked up my phone and nodded at him, indicating for him to do the same.

“I’m sorry about last week,” I said before he could say a word. He nodded.

“I shouldn’t have acted the way I did. I’m ready to tell you about it now if you still want to know.” He nodded again:

I started at the beginning. I told him all about Greg and Laci and their haircuts and chop, chop and chuffers and Mexico and sharks and telescopes and index fingers twisting into palms and then I asked him if I could pray with him and he said that I could, so I did. I left when the guard told me it was time to go and I drove to the spot where I knew I’d get a signal and I called Laci.

So, like I said, there has been thought about it, but it has all been MY thoughts!! Hopefully someday it will find its way into the hands of someone who makes movies and sees the potential!

I could write a screenplay (or hire someone to do it), but that is a lot of time, effort and expense. Right now, I feel like my resources are better spent continuing to market Chop, Chop and to continue writing new stories. If Chop, Chop gets popular enough, it will find its way to a movie maker all by itself.

Thank you so much for your question - it is encouraging to me to think that someone else thinks it would be a great movie, too!!! Many blessings!

“Why?" I whispered. "Why do you love me?"
"God told me to," she said softly. "He told me that you were the one."
"When?"
"In preschool - when you freaked out just because I got my hair cut."
I pulled back from her and looked to see if she was serious.
She was.”
L.N. Cronk, Chop, Chop

“It really was that simple, and through His grace, God showed me that it was my job to pray that He would work in each of our lives to bring us closer to Him. I wasn’t supposed to worry about how it happened . . . I was just supposed to pray that it did.”
L.N. Cronk, What I Want

“And what's worse,' she went on, 'is that on Sunday we're going to get back onto a plane and go back to our houses and our TVs and our hot tubs and we're going to forget about all this.'
'No we won't, Laci. We won't forget'
She wiped her eyes and glared at me.
'Yes, we will. You say we won't, but after we get home we'll feel differently. It won't ever feel like this again”

Cookielover Hi, just finished your series (over the weekend actually. I bought them all at once and swore to only stop for chocolate). I loved hearing the stories from different points and will write reviews as soon as I can. I'm excited for Marco's book. :) Let me know when I can expect it! :)

Thanks for the blessings!!! Leeann is a pretty name!!! Also, your books rock my socks off. I hope that your planning to write more stuff for young adults. (By the way, I think my other comments on "Pon-Pon" are on my page on goodreads! Just click my cupcake bouquet!!!)

Leeann Nugent (my maiden name). I felt it was important not to make it obvious from the beginning that I am a female since the books are told from a male's point of view - that kind of throws people out of the moment! Thank you for your reviews and I have loved reading your comments as you're reading! I know I have missed some of them, but I've enjoyed the ones I've seen! Many blessings! :)

Cookielover What does L. N. stand for?

Stephanie Tinker I took the quiz about how well do you know the Chop,Chop characters...I got 33% right. That's ok, cuz that means I can re-read the books again. :)
