Passion for history drives me to research and make my stories as authentic as possible. Through my novels, I hope to honor the real-life heroes both in the military and on the Home Front.(less)

Sarah Sundin How fun! I love your comments, and I'm glad you're enjoying the story. Believe me, I wanted to toss Cracker too :) But he has some growing to do... By the way, that incident was inspired by a real plane from the 306th BG that ditched just offshore - weighted down with booze! It was too funny not to play with. Ella Rose wrote: "Yay! Thanks for being my goodreads friend! I'm reading "A Distant Melody," and I LOVE it!! (First of your books I've ever read).

Jack and Ruth, and it was a blast to write - their banter just flowed. All I did was transcribe it :) I'm going through the galleys right now, so we're right on schedule.
