Sarah | 385 comments Here's my review of The Altar Girls, the lucky (and gripping!) 13th instalment in Patricia Gibney's series featuring Garda Síochána D.I. Lottie Parker. A return to form after an underwhelming 12th book IMO.

PattyMacDotComma | 813 comments Storm Child by Aussie author Michael Robotham is the latest in his always excellent Cyrus Haven series. The action is in Scotland this time. I wish this unsettling, timely story weren't so believable.

I enjoyed this fourth and final historical cosy mystery in the Scottish Ladies' Detective Agency series where the lady detectives travel to Mull to find a missing statue but end up investigating a locked room murder.
