I am officially finished with my journey on the Subdue Express, having just posted the review of my last Subdue read - #57 on my Porter Board. I read a total of 28 books, every single one from my TBR Towers, and all good reads, some great.

An interesting stat: 14 of those books were Clerk Board. 14 of those reads were my Porter Board and I only made it to Porter #57. Ursula did not favor me with rolls, advantages, or any breaks! I knew she had it in for me.

I had a blast! Thanks especially to Anita 🥰 for coming up with this and moderating it, nothing short of a Labor of Hercules. Thanks to all who stepped up to assist her when need arose.

Special thanks to my soul sister Joanne for keeping us on track and also jumping on board the Subdue Train without blinking once. Of course I knew hiring on the Cabanna Boys would pull her in... 😘. Joanne - don't forget to take your favorite Fainting Couch from the Caboose.

And Joy, don't forget to take your chaise from the Caboose, with its engraved plaque as the first to graduate from Clerk to Porter. It got a lot of use during your climb to the pinnacle of the Conductor ranks. CGI Tom has had it refurbished.

Most of all, special thanks to all those PBT readers who embraced my humor and wildness the whole year and road this imaginary train with me. I truly had the most fun of all, thanks to you all.

I read 46 books in the finish which I’m thrilled with. It’s way more than I ever expected to get through, but the energy of the train was so catching!

Thank you so much everyone for the many comments expressing gratitude! I'm going to work on updating the consolidated boards and then try to get all the awards, etc. organized.

The participation points spreadsheet is totally UNDER CONSTRUCTION right now - - so please don't panic if you've reported points to me, but they aren't yet showing. After January 1st, feel free to nudge me if you think there's any concerns or mistakes, and I will work on getting those ironed out!

Christmas is not my holiday, so I look forward to catching up on these final administrative tasks over the upcoming week.

The donation may actually need to be made after the first of the year, and that's totally fine. I want to give the donors ample chance to vote for their favorites.
