Sorry I've been on the go all day and haven't finished mine yet. I'll gleefully get it done in the morning so we can get our new task.Just a reminder I'm having surgery on Thursday and will be unable to read that day. Hopefully the new task I'll be able to read my book before heading into surgery. If not, hopefully, it'll be a task we can use a pass on for my spot. I'll let you all know before I head into surgery.

Here is your next task!Task 6 - 27. Read a minimum of 750 pages in books published in any one year prior to 2018, team picks the year.
As a team select a year prior to 2018 and then read at least 750 pages in books initially published in the selected year. For this task use the initial publication date. If there is a date listed at the top of the editions page - use it! Otherwise, I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.
Did we decide to go as close to 2018 as possible with 2017?

Since Kat gave us our next task I'll work on it but it might not be done until Saturday. Since we can only get a task every other day if I finish it on Saturday I won't hold our team up much. If I'm going to be later I'll let you all know and we can use a pass for my spot.

My copy is showing as Reissued but has the same date as the one with the lower page count so I went with the higher of the two. Strange though the date on the top of the all editions page is a later date than the Kindle editions 🤷♀️

This was beyond what I thought it would be. Definitely should have picked up sooner.

I was just getting caught up with my tracking and saw this comment. 😊
The doctor said it was a difficult surgery where he had to manipulate the leg a lot more than he normally would have had to. So it's really sore. I've just been taking it easy and taking the pain pills when I need. Unfortunately, they make me a bit groggy and when I go to read I find I'm falling asleep instead of reading 😆
Lol @Kat. I was thinking that with me reading #25 it puts me less than half way through the series. She writes so quickly. I think she puts out 5 or 6 books a year. I swear I'll never catch up!

This is one of my favorites! I love Dennis Mira!
It took me forever to read through the series. I got to where there was only the newest release left and started over again. Listening to these books is just comfort food for me. I'm just about caught up to where I stopped the first time and then I have a few new ones - I can't wait!
