12. Latte Art - the decorative surface pattern on Flat Whites or Lattes

Read a book with a drawn cover.

These ones count:
Last Date (Kip O'Connor Mysteries #2) by S.C. Wynne One Trick Pony (Clyde's Corner #3) by Eli Easton Acrobat by Mary Calmes

And its likely that the covers in these lists will work:
Books with Cartoonish Covers
Best Gay Drawn Covers

If you aren't sure, please post in the Q&A thread.

I'm out of range for a fair portion of today, but I will check this thread as much as I can :)

I did just the opposite - got the TART task this morning and waited for this one to decide...hope it works out as well for you as it did for me! Not only did I find a book that works for both, but the audio was free through KU AND narrated by one of my favorite narrators - Andi Arndt.

Rating: ★★★★☆
Review: I love Flavia De Luce and her deductions. She is quite a magnet to deaths and murders. I liked how her mind works and how she asked help if she seems to not understand things. Also how Dogger, the silent helper can answer almost anything. Now I'm curious about his past. Review Here

There's No Coming Back from This by Ann Garvin There's No Coming Back from This by Ann Garvin

Rating: 3 stars
Review: This was just ok for me...not bad, but nothing special either. Part of that I'm sure is because it has more of that "chick-lit/women's fiction" feel than I generally like, so if that's what you're looking for, you might just love it. I did like watching Poppy grow and figure things out, but overall there everything just fell into place and was tied up in a neat little bow a little too easily. I listened to the audio version, narrated by Andi Arndt, and for me that was the best part of the whole experience since she's one of my absolute favorite narrators.

Read date - 4.5 stars
Review - An intense story of a closeted hockey player. Graham is leading an anxiety filled panicky life, always stacking up against anyone picking up on his gayness! The sudden entry of his old ex, Rikker throws Graham into an alcoholic panic spiral. There is a lot of history between them and issues to be resolved.

Author has done a good job portraying poor Graham and his way out of all that mess. Loved Rikker and his approach to life.

Maddie, I'm concerned about your week 2 book...personally I don't see any green, just varying shades of brown. That could be differences in screens though, so if I were you I'd check with Jane before reading it since I'd hate to have it disallowed after you've read it! You can just post it in the Q&A thread and ask if it qualifies.

Review: This was just the right book at just the right time <3 I'm so glad I dove into this gothic indie. It wasn't fast-paced by any means, but it was perfect for me. The romance, the relationships, it was so good!
I loved Louvaen as a MC, so much fun to read from. And the tenderness between Louvaen and Ballard was great! Moving onto another Draven now, Master of Crows!

Review: Upon re-read, I don't know what past Maddie was thinking...... This time around I'm giving this a 4.5 star?? Mostly due to that ending, because this development and change of direction is going to SLAP. I cannot wait to see what's going to go down, and I can't wait to get through my next few books so I can pick it up!
Don't go into this expecting originality and uniqueness, because a lot of it is very similar and cut and paste to fantasy romances these days, but this was such a joy to read. It also felt a lot older than a YA book which thank the gods because it makes it such a deeper story.
I did feel like some of the characters didn't stick in my mind, so some of that went over my head, but I remember the important ones.

Touch & Geaux (Cut & Run, #7) by Abigail Roux Touch & Geaux

Rating: 4 stars
Review: It's always so much fun to revisit the craziness that is the world of Ty and Zane! I love watching their relationship grow, and as it does how they become more and more able to deal with their own personal demons. This book gives us a lot of insight into Ty's past and lets us get to know the Sidewinder group - his military "brothers" much better. Can't wait to move on to the rest of the Cut & Run books, and also the related Sidewinder series.
