If you don't mind MM Pairings....Ghostly Awakening. This is a major slow burn, so very little romance (from what I remember).

Have fun! You technically have 2 weeks to finish the book, if not more. I don’t understand the timelines very well, but you can’t be behind by more than 2 books I think. So, you just mightttt be able to get by without a pass.

Just remember that you need to post either way - either a selection post for the book or a post claiming the pass for this week. And it needs to be done before the next theme is called on Friday.
And I completely understand, I am out of town until the 18th and have barely gotten any reading done since I left!

Review: Another entry for Farrow and Maximoff. What they go through and how they love is great. Farrow with Maximoff's family is great to see. Can't wait for more for these two.

Rating (1-5): 5 Perfect stars
Review: I've read this book enough times to be able to recite dialogues from memory lol! Loved it yet again.

Completion Post

Cover above has both green and brown colors on it.
Completed 10.11.2023 *4 Stars*
Sweet story. Mark's behavior in this book was a little out of character from the Mark we had met in the earlier books. But considering how clueless he was about what he was feeling - I guess that is understandable. Loved the epilogue! Well narrated by Michael Pauley.

Weeks 1 & 2 - Complete - YAY!
Week 3 - We need some sort of post from Christy - either a selection post for a book or a message including the week # and that she is using the pass. And hopefully some more completion posts will come in before the next theme call on Friday too.

Week # 3
Task 6. Green coffee beans must be roasted prior to consumption, which is when they turn brown.
Book: An Uninvited Ghost
Author: E.J. Copperman
Pages: 294
Date: 10/10
Rating: 3.5/5
Review: This was a cute installment of the series! I do like the family dynamic that's going on with series and the growing relationship between th ghosts and the Kerby's. Adding in the tv crew and that mystery did derail from the story and seemed a bit all over the place unless we see some of them sticking around for longer but we'll see!

Review: I really enjoyed this one. It was an enjoyable romance with 2 people struggling with loss. I enjoyed both the story of Aiden and his PTSD and the story of Kyra, who'd lost her father only to find that her mother had prevented a relationship with him for the last 18 years. The chemistry between the 2 was amazing.

I'm the opposite - it takes me forever to get through a book that isn't in audio! A lot of that has to do with living so far out in the boonies - lots of car time whenever I have to go anywhere.

💫 Just waiting on Christy's week 3 completion post update, and MN Lisa and Michaele's actual completions :)

I only can listen when I'm in the car by myself and my car time is very limited. I do listen at 1.5 speed. I 've tried 2.0 and that is too fast and now I think 1.0 is too slow, unless its Aiden Snow as the narrator.

I'll check for a book tomorrow morning :)

Review: I was a little distracted while I was reading this, so I may have rated it higher had it held my attention better. It did seem like a fun adventure, I just felt like I missed something and had a hard time getting into the story. I may give the book another listen when I am less scattered.

Review: Incubus Cam and Demon Micah work to open the puzzle door and find love. Cam is hilarious with his absent-minded behaviour and the way Micah takes care of him. He realizes he can do it, but want Micah to do it too.

Review: DJ Jamison had become a go-to author for me. have enjoyed most of her books (and I've read quite a few of them). I borrowed this book on KU a while ago, but hadn't gotten around to reading it until MN Lisa gave me an excuse to :). Anyhow, I really enjoyed the book - I even liked Toby (the DILF's son) - kid characters are hit and miss, but he was a good one.

Review:
I just love Farrow and Maximoff. Their wedding was great. What they did to help Donnelly was super sweet and I wish there were more books with these to as the main characters.

Review: Pleasant enough read. There were some parts that were quite YA and got tiresome from being restated over and over. But I enjoyed the story overall.
