I started reading this one and reached Ch2.

I think this book started off with a little bit more serious tone than the other 2 books I read. I quite like the fact how a lot of things is a bit of mystery at the start and we will slowly find out!

I thought I might be able to somehow get this book done in the hours before the toppler starts but that didn't happen. I don't know yet if I can use it for a toppler task, so I might have to wait until the toppler is over to read this one. Sorry! I will try to somehow fit it in though.

Luckily for me, MZ has become my favourite author for romances so this one fit in perfectly. Unfortunately also for me, the kindle version is not working so I am having to read it in my phone which is a bit annoying.

I reached Chapter 10 - really enjoying this one as well but I think a tiny bit less than her other 2 books, but still very good!

Her conversation with Dallas where he thought she liked him was hilarious. I mean it was such an awkward conversation to have. I love how MZ portrays unapologetic women. I love the 2 kids in the book - they are so cute but I am actually getting tired thinking about all the work Diana has to do to raise the kids - it's hard lol. I wish more romance comes up in the coming chapters.

I reached chapter 15 and it has again became amazing! There is also a great surprise..

(view spoiler)[ Sal and Kulti were in the house! Ahh.. I wish there was little more of Reiner - atleast 1 dialogue.

The story is really emotional especially Diana's relation with the kids. The Christy lady is so mean - the words she said were really hurtful. But Josh has won my heart with his actions - he is such a cute kid. I am intrigued to know Dallas's marriage situation.

I reached chapter 21 and I have changed my mind - this is evolving to be a 5 star read as well.

(view spoiler)[ Dallas's brother was so rude and racist in the previous chapter. I mean he is just so bad to speak to people like that. Very unlikable.

The cute moments between the 2 are just swelling up my heart. And the scene where they share a hug with Lou is so sweet. This story is more than just the 2 characters.

I also feel how Diana's relationship with her mom is. My mom has also been pretty strict growing up and we also get into these banters where I think she is treating me as a kid. But, well, they mostly say it for our good and in their eyes we are still the little daughters they want to protect. (hide spoiler)]

I finished and I loved it as much as her other books. MZ did it again!

(view spoiler)[ I found this story so emotional because of the 2 kids. I loved the chemistry and I loved the way Dallas ended up being in their lives. There could not have been a more perfect ending.

There are few scenes that were so impactful - the scene in the car when he first kisses her, the scene where all 3 of them hug, the scene where Josh protects his aunt, the scene where Josh tells Diana how Dallas already had a conversation with him and so many more.

I think there was another character comeback (other than sal) who was her best friend from her books but I need to read them all to know haha.

I'm in the middle of chapter 10 right now. I do love (view spoiler)[the 2 kids so much. They're really cute and funny. I can only imagine how hard it must be for Diana to take care of the kids. I really love their dynamic though.
You're right, the conversation with Dallas was hilarious! I'm so excited to see how this is going.
I really like that in this book, sports are a topic but not really the main one like in Kulti. (hide spoiler)]

I just love this book. (view spoiler)[I loved having Sal and Reiner there. (Also loved that we read Kulti first so we understood the reference).
I think it's fine that they didn't have a bigger role in that scene, as it's not about them. Like this, I think it was done perfectly.

His brother (view spoiler)[was really unbelievable. How can you say something like that? I just don't understand it. Why do some people feel the need to be racist?

I really really loved the kids. I'm always a little scared that the kids will annoy me a lot but they were so sweet. And that hug was really so cute!!

I do feel you on the mom thing. Mine is the same. I just wanted to say I guess that is normal but I'm not quite sure if it actually is. (hide spoiler)]

Well, (view spoiler)[you have already seen that I rated the book 5 stars (what else lol). It was so awesome. I can't even describe how much I loved it, really. The kids, the love story, everyone's relationship with one another, the easter eggs... The list goes on. MZ really is one of my favorite authors now. So far, I rated all of her books 5 stars and I'm definitely not doing that because I feel like I have to. Her books really do have thin layers of crack on the pages. (hide spoiler)]
