To Sleep in a Sea of Stars by Christopher Paolini. it's not easy to read, and there's basically a non-existant plot. The characters are poorly built and in my opinion, it's a pathetic excuse for a science fiction, with no originality to it.
sid of crows the second book in the duolgy I just couldn't bring myself to finish it I couldn't even force myself too
My most recent DNF was Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams. I can’t stand juvenile virgin heroines. Virgin Heroines are awful for me, but I’ll try and give it a go if a book gets a lot of hype. The FMC called the MMC, the dark broody tattooed bad boy (because of course), a stinky butt munch. She kept a swear jar. Oh, she’s like 30 years old. I was out at that point
Shatter Me series. It was terrible for me. Juliet's character is too unrealistic and she sounds ridiculous most of the time.
perfect on paper.the main character was way too unlikeable and so was the love interest, not to mention they had zero chemistry. the best friend was the only good thing, and then they rushed her side romance and I couldn't keep reading.
might go back to it tho.
wicked king - holly black. I struggled through the cruel prince and was told wk was better. it was not. I don't understand the hype.
a witchs guide to fake dating a demon omfg. it made me lose my mind, the fmc and everything was so cringe and almost misogynistic
The grand ruin and The sweetest oblivion (I think? I kind of forgot its name).I could never get into them and were so boring that they gave me biggg reading slump.
A thousand boy kisses. Ughhhhh I bought that book and regret it so much. It was way to cringe for me. Tall blond “cute” guy from Norway and the girl next door. Couldn’t take it after some pages. There are more factors that gave me the ick.
Disclaimer: I HATE Highschool romances. But I only realized it after this.
"the catcher in the rye". i think i need a break form it, because im not understanding any of the intense school life haha
It starts with us … I was 75 pages into the book but I constantly found myself struggling to read this book.. it’s just too boring for me. I would consider taking time to properly read it again and pus through to finish it. 🤷🏾♀️
I didn’t like Anxious People at all! Idk i didn’t find it funny or whatever..sarcasm? Yeah, but not my cup of tea this time🥹
The Cruel Prince is currently sitting on my office floor DNF. —> the characters seemed shallow and the world building fell flat for me. I’m a mood reader sometimes so maybe I’ll give it another go sometime
I pretty much keep with a book until the end. I have been halfway through or more and decide to keep going in the hope it will get better and usually it does. Indeed, some of my favorite books have been ones where the first chapters were so much meh.Cheers, and God bless.

The Art of Racing in the Rain. The dog narrator drove me crazy and I like dogs but this book didn't do it for me.
Must Love Flowers. It was just so boring to me....very slow start and didn't seem like anything was going anywhere.
The hating game. watched it's movie instead cz the book was boring and ended up hating the movie too. It happened one summer. Too cringy
carrie soto is back. im planning to maybe pick it back up again only because everyone seems to love it but i just found carrie truly very annoying which i guess is maybe the point? i dont know i bought it when it came out and i cant seem to make it past half way through. did anyone like this book?
