20.3 POV Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Daisy Jones & The Six was way more than what I was expecting. When I first glanced at the writing I wasn’t sure it was something I could get into. It is written very differently, in the form of people being interviewed, which usually turns me off. I was submerged in the story almost instantly. Being from that era definitely added to the pleasure of the story. We learn about the behind the scenes goings on of a rock n roll band. It is as expected, drama, drugs and sex, but it is more than that. You are rooting for all of them and hoping beyond hope that it won’t end in disaster. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and loved the little twist at the end as well.
