Hello Liralen, this is in regards to #463 -- now when I click on my name, the author page doesn't come up at all, but rather an error message "Page Unavailable. An unexpected error occurred. We will investigate this problem as soon as possible — please check back soon!" Is this a normal thing that will just resolve itself as the data is updated, or can we fix it somehow? Thank you! You page looks fine now. That's normal behavior sometimes when moving books, it solves within a few hours or days.

Neil - Goodreads recently changed the import system so that more books are imported. You have the default profile for your name, meaning that other books with the same author name will land there. You can ask Support to move you off the default profile for your name, if you like, but bear in mind that if you do so your books will not automatically import to your profile either.

Regarding the new importing system, I hope that Amazon is working on a way that Authors can accept books be added to their profile instead of them just showing up.

I know it would take some coding, but it would be worth looking into and save a lot of people the headache of coming here every time a book is added incorrectly. Just a thought.

Thank you to the librarians who are tirelessly working behind the scenes to correct these importing issues.
