It is not pirated and may just not be available on the site you clicked. I found it on Amazon and have changed it back to a valid record.

This is the audiobook the author linked https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... I didn't mark it as invalid. I combined it with the rest of the editions. I can't see that it was ever marked as invalid or status changed. This journal the author linked https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... was marked as valid again though shouldn't it be invalid? If you use the see inside feature on Amazon, it's a blank lined notebook.

Just for information, but any book with "My Journal" in the title is probably a low content book using a random author name.

Before adding them to authors who have no history of low content books, perhaps the authors should be asked if it's theirs or not? Just suggesting.

I'll put a warning on my author forum about this, so others will check.

Books are imported automatically from Amazon to the person’s name. It doesn’t know that you are not the same person as the other “author.” This thread allows authors to request the books be moved, which only takes a moment. EDIT so it would probably be helpful to direct people to the group, indeed.

I have moved the books to a new profile. You will have to ask support to correct your name as it has been changed against policy.

Against policy? That is my name and that is exactly how my name appears on all of my published books. What else do you all want? You are listing my books incorrectly under someone with a similar name. The only distinction is how my name is listed on my books.

The policy clearly states, "Authors with titles or degrees (such as Dr., Sir, Ph.D., Captain, Reverend, etc.) should NOT be included in the author name (unless necessary to avoid confusion, or if part of a recognized pen name (e.g., Dr. Seuss)." My PhD is part of my "pen name". It is how all of my books are published and it is clearly the only way to distinguish between myself and the other person with the exact same name. My books need to be moved to my page.
