Hi! The author of this book has a list of other books which aren’t actually her work on her Goodreads book page for ‘Maid of Steel. I am a GR librarian but can’t see how to delete a load of children’s books connected with this author page by an author of the same name. The author of Maid of Steel doesn’t have an author page on here but would like the other Kate Baker who writes children’s books removed from her one book page.

#75: I've moved Maid of Steel (back) to a separate author page: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...Goodreads uses spacing to distinguish between authors with the same name—this author has four spaces between first and last name. Editing the book to remove the extra spaces will move the book to a different profile.
Does she have other books?

Someone added quite a bunch of notebooks to my author profile (“Paula Rivera”). Obviously, they are not mine. These are the links:

To prevent this now and in the future, I decided to change my author’s name to my full name: “Paula Rivera Donoso” (please note that Latino people have two last names). I asked a librarian friend for help. She created some books entries under my full name (Paula Rivera Donoso), but these books are no longer associated with my current Goodreads author profile. I tried to edit my actual name in my author’s dashboard. However, the app didn’t let me because it says I’m not a librarian.

Could you please give me a hand with the following?
- First, changing my author name and profile from “Paula Rivera” to “Paula Rivera Donoso”

Please contact support and ask them to merge the profiles and change your name. Librarians cannot edit verified profiles https://www.goodreads.com/about/conta... I marked the notebooks as Invalid. Please do not edit a book record to change the authors name to something else just to get it off your profile, this is against policy, instead make a request in this group and librarians will edit the book record or point you in the right direction. Also, just to clarify no one added those books to your profile they are automatically imported by an amazon bot, no human added them.

Thank you. The author will claim her book via the ‘is this you?’ and try this way.
Her original application wasn’t accepted because she doesn’t have KDP email. Will this stop her connecting her book application? This is what she has been having trouble with.
