I've got Marie Benedict's books on my TBR!

I found it very interesting as I was unfamiliar with the Mitford sisters. It would generate some good discussions. Benedict always shines with her research. I hope you enjoy it!

Annie | 424 comments 8. We Are the Light by Matthew Quick. Written in epistolary format, powerful story deals with community, grief, healing, and hope. Very well written!

Annie | 424 comments So behind on listing what I've read!

9. The Gifts by Liz Hyder. This is a sort of historical fiction/fantasy. Contains some dark, difficult moments, strong female characters.

10. It's One of Us by J.T. Ellison. I really enjoy J. T. Ellison's thrillers, very well written!

11. The All of It by Jeannette Haien. Read this one with my book group. I loved the structure of this novel - it's small put powerful!

12. The Wishing Game by Meg Shaffer. Loved this book - it was magical! I'll be rereading this treasure!

13. The First Conspiracy: The Secret Plot to Kill George Washington by Brad Meltzer. Interesting history book with a great narrative style. Enjoyed learning new to me information about George Washington's time.

14. The Soulmate by Sally Hepworth. This was so well written - I enjoyed the characters, the setting, and the mystery. Honestly did not want to stop reading this one, the story just grabbed me right from the beginning. I'll be looking for more by this author!

The Gifts was a struggle for me.

I loved The Wishing Game! It was just so wholesome and sweet and gave me all the warm fuzzies!

I enjoyed parts of The Soulmate but it wasn't my favorite Hepworth.

Annie | 424 comments Elyse, The Soulmate was my first book by Hepworth. I would love a recommendation if you have others you've enjoy by her!

The Gifts was a struggle for me also. I agreed to read it for review and wish I hadn't, lol!

The Good Sister and The Mother-in-Law were really good and I also really enjoyed her non-thriller The Secrets of Midwives.

I picked this up from PangoBooks a few months ago to meet a discount quota. I've only read one of her books so far, I Am Still Alive, and I really enjoyed it.

Annie | 424 comments It wasn't a five star read for me but it was good enough that I added her new pub, No One Can Know, to my BOTM. Enjoy!
