Sounds like a great way to start the new year!

You never know...it may fit one of the other tasks.

Please be patient with me, and I'll start tracking by the end of the week (hopefully).

Thanks, Janice. I understand.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Asking as I have a few Edouard in my TBR.

If you go to the challenge thread you’ll see a plus sign on the top right. You will create your own thread. Name it whatever you want. That is where you will record all your yearly challenge reads.
If you go to the Wall Of Fame thread you will request your wall of fame name and then when you earn your first badge one of the mods will create your WoF page.
Hope that helps.

Hi Rachel! Welcome to the group. As Marnie said above, you will create your own thread to participate in the challenge and a mod will create your WoF when you earn a badge.
You can set up your thread in this folder: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group.... Feel free to check out the threads other members created to see how they did it and create a thread that will work for you. You will report your reads for your annual challenges in that thread according to the challenge rules.
You can request your WoF name here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/.... Once the name is approved, Janice will save it for you until you earn a badge. You can earn a badge by participating in group reads, monthly challenges, topplers, and the annual challenge.

I have borrowed The Shifting Fog from the library. Understand the pages rule, makes complete sense. But what cover do I use for the cover task? The first listed edition is

Which cover should I be using for the cover task?
I'll deal with the question of whether the cover even fits the task I picked it for later, as may be a non-issue. A month later, not 1am in the morning, not after looking at 60 pages of audiobook covers for an item, and not after a couple of glasses of wine, I'm doubting that decision lol

Thanks both :D

Yes! I can't wait to see what you've come up with!

I really enjoy your yearly challenge. I learn a lot and read a lot of books the I would never have thought to read. Gophering for them is like a satisfying treasure hunt.
I can hardly wait!
