This is an unpopular opinion, but I was not a fan of Book Lovers by Emily Henry. I really wanted to like it, and it had a lot of potential, but I felt like it was really slow and the main characters didn't have the chemistry that I like in my romance books.

omg fr. that idea and plot have been used so many times ever since agatha christie's 'and then there were none'. i actually kind of enjoyed the guest list, even though the murder mystery was more of like a subplot in the book and it was more about the characters' relationships. i then read the hunting party by her and i regretted it so much because that book was so beyond boring omg 😭

Lightlark, I couldn't even get halfway and the chapters lacked detail and were written very poorly. I really expected more.
