Of the ones I did not DNF, 99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne. I haven't read any of her other books yet, but this one just felt really jarring as the story went on. I still don't get why 'cause I really had wanted to like it and found the beginning to be nice. Just went downhill from there unfortunately.
King’s Cage by Victoria Aveyard. It’s not that bad, but I almost dnf. The main reason is that plot was so repetitive. I expected way more from that book, only interesting thing about it was plain conversation between Mare and Maven. That’s it.
personally 1984. definitely controversial but i loved animal farm and absolutely hated 1984, i was super upset i didn't end up liking it but i was so close to dnf 1984. made my brain feel like mush everytime i read it
One Italian Summer, loved the way everything was described made me feel like I was really in Italy but hated how obsessed the main character was with her mother the whole book is just about her mother being her “one true love”
no longer human. i stopped reading it because I just didn't liked the way it is written. maybe I'll finish it someday
