Katherine Alvarez | 8 comments This is a YA version of Aladdin, Aladdin and Jasmine are deuteragonists, it ends with Aladdin helping Jasmine rule?

Rainbowheart | 28686 comments It would help to have a rough estimate. Was this a year ago, 10 years ago, 30 years ago?

RitaSkeeter | 14 comments Could it possibly be The Forbidden Wish by Jessica Khoury ?

message 6: by Charlotte (new)

Charlotte Mccash | 90 comments Disney’s come out with a series of YA retelling of their classic fairy tales and stories. They have one for Aladdin called “A Whole New World” by Liz Braswell. I haven’t read it, so I wouldn’t be able to tell you anything about the plot, but maybe this could help, since it is shelved as Young Adult!

David Añez | 418 comments A Whole New World by Liz Braswell, Charlotte's suggestion.

Certainly seems like a good candidate.

Katherine Alvarez | 8 comments I don't know but I'm going to check out those two titles and see if either one is the book.

Note: "In literature, the deuteragonist or secondary main character is the second most important character of a narrative, after the protagonist and before the tritagonist. The deuteragonist often acts as a constant companion to the protagonist or someone who continues actively aiding a protagonist."
