Team Chose Blue

Forsaken Fae: Book One by R.A. Steffan
251 Pages
How it qualifies: Blue cover (see above)
Rating: 3.5 Stars
Review: This is unprecedented, but I think I liked this less on the relisten? That usually only happens when there has been a significant time since publication but I read this just last year and it was published in 2021. It really does just feel like you're thrown in the middle of the story. Interesting and well written, but at times I was left feeling lost.

The CEO's Christmas Manny by Angela McCallister

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
Review: A perfectly serviceable holiday manny romance. Manny saves the day: unhappy kids (teen and pre-teen), adoped by lonely and overworked billionaire.
Audio nicely performed by John Solo.

Review:
It might not be everyone's humor but I totally enjoyed all the snark and banter.
Finn and Markus are awesome characters and perfect together. Their lovely dogs bring additional fun to the story.
I as well liked the secondary characters, especially Karsyn and now also Claude.
And the bad guy? That I didn't see coming!

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
224 pages / GR Kindle
How it Qualifies: shelved Science Fiction Fantasy by 1,497 readers
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Review: I haven't read this one since highschool, and it was so great to revisit it, esp. performed by Stephen Fry! Wacky, silly, and very clever, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is just as great the second time around.

Redemption by Nikole Knight
302 Pages
How it qualifies; MPG Fantasy/Paranormal
Date Read: 4/18
Rating: 5 Stars
Review: I forgot how much emotion I was gonna feel with this one and it was so much more in audio! Don’t listen unless you have a box of tissues with you. Graves narration let’s you feel all the hurt, longing, love, and small amounts of hope that make you yearn for the next book. Nikole Knight has made this incredible series and paired with Graves I truly feel like I’m a part of it.

Im not getting all my messages lately..only just noticed Amandas

And ive only just found out that one of my favourite bands is supporting " Placebo", im gonna be one happy girl 😁😁

Finished 20 april
Well i totally agree with Trio, this was suoer duper sweet and had me in tears on more than one occasion. Chris and his dad Dave have been living on their own since Matt died 3 years ago and it was lovely seeing Chris ask Santa to find a new boyfriend for his dad and both of them opening their hearts and home for Jeff...perfect 🥰🥰

Dear Santa is super, duper sweet Janeylou, I hope you enjoy it.

Right as Raine by Lucy Lennox

How it Fits: Recommended by Caipi
Read: 20 April
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Review: It's been awhile since I've read a Lucy Lennox that I really enjoyed. She mixes it up a wee bit in this one, and I really like Tiller. And the friends to lovers works great for them.

Luckily Lucy Lennox and Michael Dean aren't a hardship.

Luckily Lucy Lennox and Michael Dean aren't a hardship."
You could put it in Uno! In either type of drink or utensils
“Do you have any idea how much I get paid to tell this princess when to drink his water?” (P. 45)
“I glanced at the plate with a frown.”(p. 21).
And I'll move one of my reverses to a 7 so you can put it in a reverse since both Caipi and I have read it

Opened up a reverse in hand 2

Great recommendation here too Trio! You really crushed it with your recommendation shelf

I'm so glad you ladies enjoyed my recs!
I feel like I've got Uno books to spare this month 🤣🤣🤣. Sure, I can add it in there Amanda, but I was hoping for a CREAM or maybe one of the Greek or SH books. Ah well 😽 it's all good!

I'm not a big fan of Fairy Tale retellings but since I needed one for another challenge I took this chance here. And I have to admit this one was nice to read. :)
