Tell Us a Story
~ March Challenge ~

We want you to tell us a story! Tell us your story.

RULES: Yes, a story! Please feel free to make one up, using titles of the books you read this month. Or pick whichever story outline below and “Fill in the Blanks.” You don't have to match the books you read with the genre. You may delete or add sentences or words, as you desire; these are just sentences to give your inspiration. Blanks may be filled with one or more words.

There is also the option to Spell-It-Out, using a word that reminds you of March. Or do both! You still have the use of two Reader's Choice and the Wild Card Birthday Babies shelf.
DURATION:   March, 2015

LEVELS:
1-2 - Easy
3-5 - Medium
6-9 - Harder
10 or more - Hardest
Fairy Tale
Once upon a time, I dreamed of a _____________ named ___________. He/She had beautiful __________ eyes, and lips the color of __________. His hair was as shinny as __________. He/She lived in a __________. He/She let me ___________, and then I __________ and ___________. He/She gave me a ___________ that I put on my ____________. Eventually, he/she took me to see a ____________ fairy who granted us each three wishes. I wished for a __________, a _________, and ___________. This last I was so surprised over that I shouted, “______________!”
Western
Once upon a time in the Old West there was a __________ who __________. He/She lived in a __________ and had a pet __________. Evidently, he/she thought I needed a ____________ . Seeking that, I ran in to some ___________, but I got away. I eventually found an old ___________ and made my fortune, but found that __________ was more important than _____________. After discovering this, I rode off into the sunset with __________ and lived ____________.
Contemporary
One day I was just walking _____________ when I came across a ___________. Imagine my surprise when he said, "_______________." You could have knocked me over with a _________________. I did think it was awfully ____________ and a bit amusing. Didn't he know I was ____________? Eventually, we spend the day together and it ran into the night, one I'll ____________.
My Own Creation:
Example of a Story Using Titles:
March has been a Crazy month for me. Right off the bat I met a Wild Man. He wanted to Knock Me Off My Feet - and he succeeded. He even liked my sense of humor and called me, "Funny Girl." That is saying Something, Maybe. He showed me Gardens of Delight and made me shout, "Seduce Me at Sunrise!"
Crazy by Amy Reed Wild Man (Dream Man, #2) by Kristen Ashley Knock Me Off My Feet by Susan Donovan Funny Girl by Nick Hornby Something, Maybe by Elizabeth Scott Gardens of Delight by Erica James Seduce Me at Sunrise (The Hathaways, #2) by Lisa Kleypas
“WILD CARD!”: Remember, you may still use books from the shelves of our “Wild Card” Birthday Babies. Either added them on as additional, or work them into the story-line.
description description description description description
Susan (susayq)
Option #2 - Spell-It-Out: Select the name of your favorite Irishman, such as Roarke, or something pertaining to March and Spell-It-Out. Read books with titles, series names, authors (first or last name), character (first or last name), that begin with letters that correspond to letters of the word you choose. You may ignore the indefinite and definite articles (a, an, the, etc.).
Example of Spell-It-Out:
M. - Mira Lyn Kelly, author of Front Page Affair
A. - An American Heiress in London #3 - Catch a Falling Heiress,
       by Laura Lee Guhrke
R. - Robb, J.D.; author of Obsession in Death
C. - Charles Cornick; character in Dead Heat, by Patricia Briggs
H. - His to Take, by Shayla Black
Front Page Affair by Mira Lyn KellyCatch a Falling Heiress (An American Heiress in London, #3) by Laura Lee Guhrke Obsession in Death (In Death, #40) by J.D. Robb Dead Heat (Alpha & Omega, #4) by Patricia Briggs His to Take (Wicked Lovers, #9) by Shayla Black
Check out Add a Book & Bookcover Link, if you need to know how.
Option #3 - Both! - Do a bit of both!

⚜️XAR the Bookwyrm (xar-the-bookwyrm) What a cool idea! I'm in, just gotta figure out a story, which I now have done!

March 2015 Challenge: Tell Us a Story!
Duration: 1st March - 31st March
Level: Hardest
Read: 15/15

Every night, I would dream a dream that I was To Love A Wicked Scoundrel. We would steal away to Joe's Diner and Hide in Plain Sight from everyone that would ridicule our love. We’d order The Sweetest Thing and get Shamrocked, on it. After the Sweet Release that the dessert would bring, we’d find Becoming Bea, and get All Dressed Up in Love: A March Wedding Story for a Threesome Sweetness (Irish Kisses, #3). Dance, ending the dance with a Hot Winter Kiss and a Marry Me, I'm Irish proposal. Since things were getting Crazy Hot, we’d cool things down with a Chill Factor and a Luscious movie. After Breathing His Air for a while, I’d wake up and realize it was all just a dream, then roll over and snuggle up next to my scoundrel of a husband, smiling as I drifted back off to sleep.

Once upon a time, I dreamed of a Devil in a Kilt named Delicious. He had beautiful Decadent eyes, and lips the color of Life Blood. His hair was as shiny as Radiance. He let me Ready Player One, and then I Seduced by Magic and made A Discovery of Witches. Eventually, he took me to see a fairy who granted us each three wishes. Shannan | 5 comments Oh this is a really cool idea! I'm in :) And here is my story!

2/17 -- Hardest

Once upon a time, I dreamed of The Pirate Lord who was called The Devil of Clan Sinclair. He had beautiful blue yet seemingly Soulless eyes, and lips the color of Ruby Red. His hair, the color of Cinder. He seemed to be kind sometimes, but then acted like a Cruel Beauty, like a Beast. He lived in a castle in The Darkest Part of the Forest. He tried to tutor me for The Goddess Test but found me Unteachable, and I didn't feel like One Smart Cookie at all! He became angry, then possessed by darkness, and he brought upon me a Beautiful Disaster in the form of dark Witch Magic that I eventually saved us from. To thank me for my courage, he took me to see a fairy who granted me three wishes. I wished to be A Little in Love, to have Seduction and Snacks, and to be The Fairest of Them All, thus becoming the goddess I was meant to be after all. And in the end, he became my Prince and I said goodbye To All the Boys I've Loved Before, and we were wed and whispered to each other “I Need You Now and Forever”.

To read: The Pirate Lord (Lord Trilogy, #1) by Sabrina Jeffries The Devil of Clan Sinclair (Clan Sinclair, #1) by Karen Ranney Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1) by Gail Carriger Ruby Red (Precious Stone Trilogy, #1) by Kerstin Gier Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black The Goddess Test (Goddess Test, #1) by Aimee Carter Unteachable by Leah Raeder One Smart Cookie by Kym Brunner Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1) by Jamie McGuire A Little in Love by Susan Fletcher Seduction and Snacks (Chocolate Lovers, #1) by Tara Sivec The Fairest of Them All by Carolyn Turgeon To All the Boys I've Loved Before (To All the Boys I've Loved Before, #1) by Jenny Han

Ipshita (miss_romanceaholic) | 397 comments March 2015 Challenge: Tell Us a Story

Read: 9 books!

I met a guy, he was wearing an Indigo shirt. He told me that I was His Heart's Desire, the only problem being that I was also His Enemy's Daughter. We were stuck In Between with no way to go. I began to think that it might be Someone Else's Fairytale. He told me to ignore all the Pride and Prejudice, and proposed by saying,"I Love You to Death". We decided to get Married at Midnight, and that's how I became A March Bride.
