She cuddled up against him, her head resting on his shoulder. "We could probably shower tomorrow." she muttered

"You're so warm." she muttered yawning.
"Good to know" he said smiling.
"Thanks for letting me cuddle with you too." her eyes slid shut but she tried to keep them open, since they were talking.
"Except it really kind of is. I mean we've known each other for what three weeks?" she asked
"And here we are holding each other." she was sure he knew that she now trusted him, but she had never said it aloud
"Sorry, I'll sleep now." she tried to relax, her thoughts on how her cut throat felt.
"What there to be sorry about?"
He shakes his head in confussion
"You told me to go to sleep and I'm still talking. I thought that's why you looked at me."
"Oh okay. So then why did you look at me?" She asked curiously.
"I was talking to you you are supposed to look at the people you are talking to" he sad
"Its the end of the world Tyler. The same rules don't apply anymore." she chuckled
"Alright then." she yawned again
He says"if your tired go to sleep"
"I know I know." she muttered already doing just that.
He says"ok" he closes his eyes.
She was asleep moments later, holding onto him tightly.
He smiles staying close to her falls asleep
She woke in the early morning and carefully moved from his arms, trying not to wake him. She padded quietly through the school, jimmy rigging a generator so that she could get the showers working. Once they were she turned two on so they would get hot and then crawled back into Tyler's arms, gently poking his cheek like she did every morning to wake him.
He wakes up and looks at her,
"I've got the showers going." she told him quietly
"I couldn't get the showers in the male locker room going so are you opposed to showering at the same time?" she asked following him up, gingerly touching her bandage
"Okay." she nodded and led him to the female locker room. It was clear that she had cleaned the place up a bit, especially since she wasn't one to clean up in a dirty place. She took the back stall, and pulled the curtain around feeling more safe tucked away. She tossed her dirty clothes on the floor in the empty shower, not caring if they got soaked since they would just be washed anyway. Next she peeled the bandage off and sucked in a shocked breath as the water hit the open wound.
He takes his clothes off and gets in the shower
She closed her eyes and let the warm water relax her, washing all the dirt and blood down the drain. Once she was pretty rises off she actually began showering. "Do you think the wound is bad enough to be sewed up?" she asked him as she washed her hair.
"I will need to get a better look at it"
"Okay." she nodded and frowned. "Did you grab my scrubby?" she asked
"Huh?" He asks utterly confused
"Nothing." she sighed and dejectedly washed her body. Small things like scrubbies had started making her showers better
"You know that pink fluffy thing I use to wash my body off?" she asked as she turned the water off and wrapped her large towel around herself.
"You left it at the sleeping bag
"Oh, okay." she nodded glad she hasn't left it at the last place they had showered. "I'm going to toss our clothes in the wash and fix something to eat." she told him passing his stall.
"Tyler!" she squeaked in surprise quickly turning away from him
She shook her head and grabbed his clothes, quickly escaping to the home ec room where she tossed their clothes in the washer and started pulling things out of the pantry to cook.
He gets out and put a towel around him and went to the sleeping bag
"I hope you like chili." she told him as she laid down on top of the blankets, pulling her towel over her legs since it had ridden up a bit
