He goes to her and grabs a medic bag and puts a bandage on her throat hoping it will help somewhat.

"We have to get put of here." she nearly sobbed
He nods and picks her up and runs
"I could have walked." she told him wrapping her arms around him.
She buried her face against his chest. "Were you hurt?" she asked eventually.
"No" he says and continues to run
"We need to skip the first town we come too. They will get reinforcements and we need to find a place and barricade ourselves in." she told him
She placed a hand against the bandage and frowned when it came away bloody again. "I'm still bleeding pretty badly." she told him, her eyes getting droopy.
He eventually gets to a place he sits her inside.
"Why are we stopping?" she asked barely staying awake.
He stakes quiet and patches her up better then picks her up again.
"Tyler you should read longer." she urged, one hand lightly gripping his shirt as another bout of dizziness passed. She couldn't place where they were, or remember if they had passed a town already or how long he had been carrying her.
She didn't make it much longer, passing out and going completely limp in his arms, her bandage already beginning to have blood show through
He finds a place to stay he takes her in.

She was dreaming of high school again.
Her neck was still bleeding, but it was slowing down a bit.
Her bandage was soaked again, and she continued to sleep.
After an hour she woke up and looked around highly confused. "Where are we?" she asked, her throat dry
"Need water" he asked voice soft.
"Yes please." she nodded trying to look around, but her bandage prevented it
"Where are we?" she asked again
She nodded and gingerly touched her bandage. "Thank you." she gave him a small smile knowing very well that he could have let them take her, or just left her there since she was wounded.
"It was nothing" he said and smiled back
"It was. How long did you carry me?" she asked sipping the water again
He stares off thinking he says later" 4-5 hours."
"Wow." her eyes widened in surprise
She rolled her eyes. "So we went through how many towns?" she asked fishing an apple from her bag.
She nodded and bit into the apple. "I'm really sorry." she sighed
"It is though. They were specifically looking for me." she frownes
She didn't say anything and just munched on her apple. "I don't know why but I'm tired." she admitted after a while of silence.
"Are you going to sleep too?" shecaskef
"I've kind of gotten used to cuddling with you." she blushed a bit.
"Ok" he said and lays by her.
