"You ever think about just finding a place and staying there?" she asked curiously as she started at the ceiling.
"Well I guess I'm just tired of running when I start thinking about that. Then stuff like this happens." she gingerly touched her wound. She hasn't had him bandage it again because it needed to breathe' as her mother used to say.
"What?" she asked feeling him watching her.
"Okay." she nodded and shivered lightly, starting to get cold.
He lays by her looking at her
She rolled so that she was facing him as well. "Its something isn't it?" she asked
She gave him a look that said she didn't believe him before she closed her eyes and cuddled up against him
"I'm not to sure how good the chili is actually going to taste, since it has been several years, but hey, they say canned goods never go bad." she told him, her breath hitting his chest as she spoke.
He says" I never heard that but I wouldn't be surprised"
"They don't have expiration dates." she told him chuckling.
"Our clothes should be done drying and just need washed now. Want to come with me?" she asked
"The food might also be done." she added thoughtfully as she stood up.
She led him through the halls and pointed to a seat while she tossed their clothes into the dryer. She then took the lid off the chili and stirred it. "Almost done."
He sat down the towel loosing a bit.
She hopped up onto the counter and kicked her feet as she watched him. "You know you never answered my question about picking a place to stay."
"I would only do it if I had somone.
She thought about it. "Yeah that makes sense. It'd get pretty boring on your own." she agreed
He nods and looks at the ceiling.
"You and ceilings." she shook her head
She stuck her tongue out at him and stretched her arms over her head. "Do you ever wonder what you would be doing right now if the plague hadn't hit?" she asked him curiously
He shakes his by head looking at her.
She nodded, both surprised and not so surprised
He stands up his towel stuck to the chair.
"Seriously?" she slapped her hands over her eyes, incredibly tempted to peak through her fingers, which she did.
He just stands there shocked.
"I've seen much more of you than I need to." she told him blushing profusely. She didn't say want to because, well he was pretty hot.
He pulls up the towel around himself then says"you said need not want."
"Did I?" she blanched putting her hands on the counter
"Oh ... well I uh ...." she tried to come up with something to say but failed.
"Nothing." she used his usual reply
She watched him, making sure he wasn't going to come any closer, incredibly aware of her state of dress, she didn't answer him though
