I can use it for this shelf?

I can use it for this shelf?"
Yep. It only takes one tag to work. :)

Based on my experiences last year, yesterday was the worst. I couldn't even listen to an audio. I slept most of the day. Now I have a headache, and I expect to be tired for quite awhile.

Stupid library app. It said 2 days until renewal. Then I went in and suddenly it was 20 hours! I ended up having to renew it for the last 15 minutes of the book! :)

Review: It felt like a bit of a let down as a conclusion to a series. That so often is the case with a YA series. Or maybe I'm just totally burned out on YA. We have the super-powerful-magic-can-solve-everything trope, as well as the typical YA self-sacrifice-but-still-survive trope. Overall, a pleasant read, but not superb.

3.5 Stars for this one.... I really really hoped I would enjoy this one more but as usual Fantasy and Audio just seem to fail me. ugh... I will get this one in ebook version and take the time to read it. The audio is a daunting 22+ hrs. which is double my usual read.
So , the truth of it all is this. The audio was hard for me to follow, names get confusing because they aren't the normal Jim and Daisy type names. And the narrator had an accent , as lovely as it was .. I was lost in translation...
I love the premise of this story. An orphaned student , a soldier , a thief , a prince must all come together to do what? let's say it together ... "SAVE THE WORLD". Of course, my apologies but that's the summary. I got lost in the swamp and jungle or desert or wherever we were along the way.
My apologies James Rollins, this is my first but not my last book you have written. I will give this one a true re-read one day.
Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced audiobook copy of this book. I did my best, but I guess my best wasn't good enough. I liked the story, but just got a little lost in all of the word soup along the way.
Fans of EPIC Fantasies this is your cup of tea! come and get it!

I love the setting of this book, Virgin River, and the small town feel of it. Melinda goes to Virgin River to escape from the memories of her husband's murder and to get some much needed R&R. She's a nurse practitioner, and a really good one but she's never treated small town people before and it is different than the big city so there is quite an adjustment. One major "thing" that helped her grow to love Virgin River is a man named Jack who eventually becomes a love interest.

OMG Schwab is becoming a favorite author of mine even though I have only read 3 of her books. I rated all of them 5 stars, so I need to continue reading more of her works.
Generally I don't mind a cliffhanger, but the ending of this book left me NEEDING to hop to the next one in the series! Even though I rated it 5 stars, it wasn't quite as good as book 1 for me, but still a 5 star book. I absolutely love all the characters and I love Kell and Lila's relationship, so following that is one of my favorite parts or this series. In fact, I liked reading about both of the romances in this book, but it wasn't overkill which I liked. I also think that the worldbuilding is really well done.

I'll be on the road tomorrow, heading out of town. But I'll be watching for the new shelf call :D

Review: While I still enjoy the series, it seems to have lost quite a bit of the snark and humor that drew me in the first book. Rhlys was just more fun when she was more miserable. However, I am now committed to the series and will certainly continue to find out what happens.

I was happy to finally make it to this point, #5 ! Whew! I enjoyed this series but did find my attention wane when so many characters were added (around book 3?).
I love Meg and Simon's relationship and was happy to see it evolve and end as it did in this book. I will continue with #6 Lake Silence because I am curious where we go from here. This series does read like a soap opera, albeit with some graphic parts and foul language , lol!

This book is so amazing and fun to read. I love all of the characters: Harry Dresden, Karrin Murphy, Billy the Werewolf, and who wouldn't love a fairy named Toot-toot? I'm not really a cat lover (at all), but I have to say that Mister won me over as well.
I love that he signs on to help everyone and anyone at his own expense, any where he can, any way he can. I love that he's smart and funny and loyal. Harry just can't stay out of trouble with the Council, so he's in deep trouble again. In order to help the wizards and vamps this time the only way out is helping the Winter Queen on an extremely dangerous mission.

Review:
The Dresden Files series is one of my favorite fantasy series. I get lost in the world of Harry and all the vampires and troubles that go along with it. This one was a bit different as Harry finds himself in TV land on the Larry Fowler show, not someplace I would envision a wizard being. But two characters from the other world show up for the wrong reasons and throws things a bit helter skelter. I am not generally a fantasy fan, but the Dresden Files series has definitely got me hooked.
