Book 8 in the series. Felt a bit like a filler book as it didn't bring the connecting plot forward but the reunion of the MC with the other Immortal Guardians was so good. 4 stars my review


Another ok to good cozy. Even though both this book and Bait and Witch were centered around a library I actually liked this one better which is why I rated it 4 stars rather than the 3.5 of B&W my review


Did I love this book? I still don't quite know. 4 stars my review

I read this back in November and enjoyed it a lot. It was definitely gritty and super interesting. I only gave it 4 stars though because it lacked romance. I love Kerrigan Byrne's romances...well, the few I've read anyway. I missed the I'd Die for You connection she writes so well. The potential is there though so there is that.

Christina, I started this book in November 2020 and then had a heart attack. I put it on hold and just now got back to it. It turned out to be a great historical mystery/suspense. It is definitely different than her other Historical Romance books.

I'm currently listening to Damien by Jacquelyn Frank It's been forever since I read the first three books in this series. I rated Jacob (book 1) 5 stars, rated Gideon (book 2) 3 stars, and didn't rate Elijah (book 3) so maybe they just weren't living up to my expectations after a first amazing book. Or it could be I just fail at finishing series LOL. Anyway, I'm playing a team game in another group that required a book 4 and I was able to get it on audio through my library/Hoopla. Xe Sands is narrating, and I like her quite a bit.

I read the first 3 before joining Good Reads or right around that time but didn't really do much on the site until Shelfari went away. So maybe this time I'll rate, date, and review the book LOL.
