I also finished Mad Honey
. I loved this one. It was a bit long-winded at times, but overall I thought the story was great. 4.5 stars also rounded up because I didn't have a reason not to and I was just being picky. lol

Finished a bunch of books:
Get a Life, Chloe Brown🌟🌟🌟entertaining and the banter between the main characters is fun.
Ariadne🌟🌟🌟🌟the story flowed well, narration was good!
Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar🌟🌟🌟thoughtful, inspiring and insightful.
Dark Matter🌟🌟🌟🌟very engaging and I couldn’t put it down.
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow🌟🌟I just thought overall this story was just ok. There were some engaging parts.
Caleb's Crossing🌟🌟I thought the last 25% of the book was more enjoyable the other part just didn’t hold my interest.
Two Nights in Lisbon🌟🌟🌟🌟very engaging and I could put this one down especially the 2nd half of the book.
A Snake Falls to Earth🌟I just couldn’t get into this story line. I did find Oli’s story more interesting than Nina’s.
I started Of Women and Salt by Gabriela Garcia at 10 pm last night. And finished it at 2 am this morning. Yikes. I'm torn in my review. I initially gave it 4 stars with reservations - really only think it's a 3. The premise of the book was wonderful. The book-length was too short to cover all the holes that were left in it. I loved the ending but for the holes. So I'm leaving it at 4, because when all is said and done, I stayed up and awake to finish it!
The Orange Girl by Norwegian author Jostein Gaarder is a short and sweet, enchanting tale set in Oslo about a 15 year old boy who discovers a letter from his deceased father. His father writes the story of his meeting the mysterious and captivating Orange Girl on a tram. This is a beautiful and moving read. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ here is my review

The Adventures of China Iron by Argentinian author Gabriela Cabezón Cámara is an exuberant queer retelling of the 1872 epic poem about gaucho Martín Fierro starring his young wife China Iron who runs away across the pampas with redheaded Scottish Liz on a series of adventures. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ here is my review

I finished The Villa
. I enjoyed this one, but can not recommend it on audio even though the narrators did a good job. There are things included in the story (i.e. blog posts, snippets from another book, etc) that didn't translate well to audio. 3.5★

Just finished Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe (it was chilling). Just started Sister Outsider by Audre Lorde. I recently made a numbered list of all the books I own but haven't read. I use a random number generator to select my next read, and I've vowed not to buy another book until I've read all 200 books on my list! (We'll see...)
Oh, good luck, Kevin! I love that idea, but I'd never be able to stick to it. Keep us updated as to how it goes for you.
We shall see! It means staying away from book reviews, podcasts, and even groups like this to some extent. Those are the things that get me impulse-buying. :-)
I'm about 90% through What Lies in the Woods and about 50% through One Last Child. I am really enjoying both of them. I should finish What Lies in the Woods today, so I'll come back and a post a review later.
