Ah yes indeed! Lol
I have an Agatha Christie one planned later on (if I can find it that is)

I recommend any of the plays of Oscar Wilde if anyone needs a play, but Agatha Christie is a good choice as well.
Then there's An Inspector Calls and Other Plays by J.B. Priestley, which contains Time And The Conways, which makes you think.

Cindy (BKind2Books) (bkind2books) | 1190 comments It includes watching a play…I watched Macbeth with Denzel Washington. The production was amazing.

I just don’t care for reading plays. I feel like they are better as performances. Just me. Or maybe I was scarred in high school. 🤣

Plays are better seen than read, I agree. I also agree about high school!

Thanks! I'll browse the Oscar Wilde books and see if anything catches my fancy. I've read The Importance of and really liked it, so maybe another one of his could be good. Thanks for the suggestion. Any other possible comedic plays you would recommend (besides Wilde)?

Tartuffe and L'École des Femmes/The School For Wives by Molière are both funny.
My favourite Shakespearan comedy is Twelfth Night.

No worries, Susy. Maybe you can have a reading marathon some time.
I only read 4 books in September because I was on a trip, but even when I came back I hardly read anything.
I'm finally out of my reading slump.

Unless there is a specific length requirement, the books can be any reasonable length.

Susy (susysstories) | 468 comments I might have read some books that fit the challenges but participating in so many readathons, GR groups and Discord server is taking up a lot of time, so haven’t had the chance to check yet…
