I just enjoyed the first of this entertaining, quirky historical mystery series. Lady Hardcastle is seeking A Quiet Life in the Country, but author T.E. Kinsey ensures her sleuthing talents don't go to waste. Just what I needed - a good cosy!

Just finished Explosive Eighteen by Janet Evanovich.Used to read these books as they were released, and this one was released in 2011 - so tells me how long it has been since I read one. I was tired of their samey sameness, so gave them up, but enough time has passed that I could drop in for an enjoyable visit. ★★★ Will I read the rest? Not sure, maybe for a quick read for a challenge :)
