It was different. The range of genres readers used when they labeled/shelved it seems to underline how hard it is to pigeonhole. I can recall what I was doing as I listened to the audio version, so it certainly imprinted. (Painting the closet in my new home during quarantine, periodically muttering aloud about what had just happened in the plot.) Reviewers seem to love or hate it. Worth borrowing from the library to see how you feel about it.
Please add me in Brenda. I had thought I wouldn't do an annual challenge this year but ... you've got me with this one :) ... I am excited !Going HARD for this one
