Does the check mark mean you've read it? What did the book club think of The Lost Apothocary? What did you? Our book club read it and most liked it quite a bit. I thought there were some holes in the story that didn't sound right.
Yes, the checkmarks are for read books. We haven't discussed it yet. Both of my book clubs for last month were cancelled due to the hosts having covid, so we are discussing them this month instead. I'll let you know what everyone thinks after we meet. I enjoyed it, but I got the impression from a couple of my friends that they have liked it more than I did. I'm really interested to see what they have to say.

i love this thread!!! although it does give me a complex as i dont have any forward looking plans for the next week/month/year etc. as an underpaid/overworked corporate coolie who also volunteers a lot, i am glad if i manage to read a few hours each week. read purely for pleasure, and hate too much planning/listing as I do too much of it at the workplace :-)(Don't kick me out of this group for saying this ;-) )
