I definitely second Shirley Jackson. That's a great choice! I'd also love to invite all of my favourite high fantasy authors as I think it'd make for some great conversations between them all - Brandon Sanderson, George R.R. Martin, Joe Abercrombie, R.F. Kuang, Gareth Hanrahan, Patrick Rothfuss, Alix E. Harrow, Andrea Stewart, and Evan Winter.
Ooh that sounds like a great party! I picture a long table overflowing with a grand feast, fit for a dinner of high fantasy authors!

Although hopefully there will be less meats present than is often featured in Western/medieval-based fantasy stories as I'm a vegan lol.
