I didn't like the first book in that series so I haven't tried it.
I think he’s really grown as an author.
I find his stuff action packed and suspenseful. Haven't read one yet I didn't like.

I never read the first book. I skipped it. I need a Lisa 4-5 star read and that is how it got picked. 😂

Review: So, am pretty sure Gustaf didn't like this because of the closeted 40 year old man, Noah, the one MC who hasn't quite admitted his sexuality and is afraid to, being an FBI officer living in the midwest. On his quest for confirmation, on a trip to Vegas, he encounters, and has an amazing night with Cole, that absolutely confirms it for him. He's called back home early and never gets to have a second date in Vegas, due to the resurgence of a serial killer that he has to investigate. When they call in a profiler to help, of course it's Cole, and there is lots of awkwardness and tears. I thought the investigation was well done, loved the interactions between Noah and his daughter and Cole and did like that once Noah committed, he was all in, with no hesitation to be out and proud. Couldn't get out of bed til I finished this morning, so absolutely found it riveting.
Diane in the second book they were already a couple but that serial killer gave me the creeps. When the pov was his I got the hibbie jibbies!
There was only one small instance of that in this first book, but I really liked the romance.
I’m half way thru The Night Of, it is so good! I really think you’ll love it too. It’s very different from the Murder Between Us series… but still intense.
I’m on the road today, so I won’t be able to finish my book till later tonight

What the ever loving fuck did I just read! This had spirit animal of a bear after drinking a drug. It had angst. It had confusion (my own). What it lacked was a cohesive story. I hated it. If this had been the first book I had read of this author it would have been the last. 1star.

Wende, that was an offshoot of his really long series (The Executive Office). Probably didn't make much sense if you hadn't read that.

I'm almost done with my book. I had hoped to already be finished but today got busy. I had an eye exam, bought new glasses and got stuff to celebrate Toby's second birthday.

I'm going to read an old Lissa Kasey. It's not surprising how many I have read from that list already as that is the year I started reading M/M books.

Review: This was exactly what I needed right now. Two genuinely nice guys getting the happy ever after they deserved. Sean Ashcroft is becoming one of my go to authors for sweet fluff.

Review
Tal Bauer has become one powerful writer. The power of emotions being pushed and pulled through words as Sean’s POV were intense. Sean’s mission is to find the truth behind President Bakers death. And he would do anything at any cost to bring that truth back to the man he loves. Outstanding book!
