TART Challenge - Round 4 - Racing Rainbows (1)
Vino & Veritas Is a good choice… lots of books to pick from. And I’m OK with Psycop if we go that route
For task 29…can we change the term from cop to law enforcement? That would cover FBI as well…and other sci fi books as well.
DeeNeez wrote: "Hey, team… FYI. On same author/series books… I don’t really want to read anything by Mary Calmes or Amy Lane. I got burnout on them and now I shudder if I have to read one of their books.I will i..."
I won't read Amy Lane unless I have to.
I am easy on the task. We used Gustaf birth year before as he was the youngest and more mm books written in his year. Not to many in 1962. I think we will find he is still the youngest this time as well. I think we all but him are born in the 60's.
I have no Psycop books left to read and am not sure about THIRDS, so Vino & Veritas would be my preference. Thrilled to read AE Wasp -- only read 2 of the Pros & Cons books so far.
I love that M/M Romance is a sub-genre -- I didn't put anything because I wasn't sure exactly what counted.
Not a fan of AE Wasp but I will read it. It is not that I hate the author. It is just not the style I like. I will of course read a book in the series. No problem for me
I only have to read four more Scavenger Hunt books for 2021. I am sad. I thought I would be happy but not. Although never playing to win it again!
Wende wrote: "I only have to read four more Scavenger Hunt books for 2021. I am sad. I thought I would be happy but not. Although never playing to win it again!"With my MS I went for fun and not regretting it.
I only have one more book left for SH. It's been a good year for me. I like my team. But of course, nothing can beat last year. The way our team just clicked was amazing.
I'm back for more decisions: 49: March 2021 sounds good
50: London, New York or Chicago - I'm fine with all of them, but New Work would let me read some Felice Stevens. What about you?
52. Black, Gray or Blue - Please not blue, I'm still scarred from UNO.
53. I think Toronto or Seattle might be the easiest? Sadly I haven't written a book set in Stockholm x)
54: Two people wants beach, two people wants mountain, I can be swayed for beach if Wende is ok with that.
55: Three for Australia
56: MM Books with a rating over 4.50 or Best MM Debut author 2015 Check them out and tell me what you think.
58: Dee joined in 2021, I think we should use that.
64: Oceania would be the easiest choice.
As for mountain or beach… I can be swayed either way. I just thought it would be faster to scan book covers for a beach😂
Only reason I picked it.
Am fine with New York, Grey and Seattle. Love MM books rated over 4.5. No vested interest in beaches or mountains, toss a coin. Is Oceania Australia/New Zealand??
We get our first task on Tuesday, correct?
I am over 40% through my last Hunt book (always so SAD). Planning to have it done and out of the way before this one starts. I am so glad I went with For Fun this year -- even though our team is losing!

Yes, Oceania covers AU, NZ..and the smaller islands like Fiji
Here’s a list

DeeNeez wrote: "Wende! … Remind me to re-read the KJ Charles’ Magpie series if we get historical 😁"I love that series!
Reason I said mountains Mahu has scarred me this scavenger hunt on beaches but I can get over. I read I am pretty sure the whole series. 😂😂

I regret not taking for the fun but will next time. 😂😂
Okay my lovelies! I cannot sleep and it is 3:30 am. I am going to take some pm medicine so may knock myself out to way late. Don't feel like I am ignoring you all just so tired.
Here's the last one: 71: Chase the rainbow (Janeylou's team) (2)
72: 1990's (Meeee)
73: another one that's the same so let's leave it.
74: March
75: B? C? T? Which one?
76: Shirt
77: Wende - Dee
Diane - Wende
Gustaf - Diane
Dee - Gustaf
79: Fake Boyfriends
82: Same as 9
84: 5. Chicken Month and Happy Cat Month - Read a book with an animal in the storyline or on the cover (Shifters count!)
88: Car
90: March, April, May, June.. which year?
91: Let's hope this one ain't called
92: Past
93: I messed the lists up, the over 4.5 rating should be here, we need a list with over 100 books on it for task 56.
94: 2021, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16
95: Wolf
96: Moon
Gustaf…#75… changing my vote to T
#84 task says “current” not September, so this will change in October.
#99… 2021, a lot of newer releases to pick from are KU

I am easy just tell what we decide on any and I will read it. We get our first task tomorrow right?
DeeNeez wrote: "Wende wrote: "6:00 pm eastern time zone"Thanks…3pm my time 😁"
For the first task, all teams are getting the same task. After that it'll be different task for all teams.
Hopefully I'll be sleeping since I have an early morning the next day, but I wouldn't put it past me to be awake. It's midnight my time.
Gustaf wrote: "Hopefully I'll be sleeping since I have an early morning the next day, but I wouldn't put it past me to be awake. It's midnight my time."I know. I should have said hopefully Gustaf is asleep. 😴😴
Gustaf wrote: "Hopefully I'll be sleeping since I have an early morning the next day, but I wouldn't put it past me to be awake. It's midnight my time."Since you are awake now past midnight maybe you will be tired tomorrow night
😂😂 I was originally looking for a leaf…so I enlarged, then inspected each and every square/door when that jumped out at me.
DeeNeez wrote: "😂😂 I was originally looking for a leaf…so I enlarged, then inspected each and every square/door when that jumped out at me."I see clearly the leaves the house may not be enough but should be.
I just finished the two books I was reading -- my last Scavenger Hunt book and my Bingo book. I figure I better wait until 3:00 before picking my next one! Might get something done today.

Yummm.... i am barbecuing lamb chops. Don't think I could handle a long time without pizza. We try to make our own on Wednesdays. 🍕🍕🍕
Diane wrote: "Yummm.... i am barbecuing lamb chops. Don't think I could handle a long time without pizza. We try to make our own on Wednesdays. 🍕🍕🍕"Sounds good. I love lamb. I have not had it for over a year.
First Task - All Teams!0. Each teammate reads a book initially published in a fall month, teams decide which month.
As a team select a fall month. Fall this year is from September 22 through December 21 - so you may select September, October, November or December, then everyone reads a book initially published in the selected month of any year. For this task, use the initial publication date. If there is a date listed at the top of the editions page - use it! Otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the selected month in your completion posts.

For task 1 - A.E. Wasp got a mention by three of us out of four so maybe we should go for her?
For task 9 - PsyCop, THIRDS and Vino & Veritas got the most mentions. I would personally prefer Vino & Veritas but I'm also fine with PsyCop. Don't really want to read THIRDS. What about you guys?
For task 27 - 2017 it is!
For task 28 - Same as task 19
For task 29 - Cop it is!
Will come back for more of these after dinner.
