For that task, the series does not have to be a numbered series. So the Magic Empporium series you mentioned would work.

The task is for a night sky, not a night scene. That cover doesn't show the sky, but the French edition does show enough that it would work. 😊

Not bugging - making sure messages I didn't see get noticed!! Sometimes, if I make a comment when the page hasn't been reloaded for a few minutes, the comments that come in can get missed - when I reload it takes me to my comment. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry I missed your question as well. This is not a team decision, you can read the same or different series. The only requirement is that the selected book be from a continuing series.

Everyone - please nudge me if I miss a question or a team completion!! Like I commented above, sometimes if I comment when a page hasn't been reloaded for a bit, the questions come in before my comment, but when I reload the page it shows those as not new even though I haven't seen them yet. I really don't want to keep anyone waiting, so if you see me comment here or somewhere else I'm likely online and if nudged (or hit over the head with something) I can get you an answer!

Hey MKat - for Task 2 - Read 4 books by authors who write under more than one name

I finished a book this morning by an author who writes with 2 names, but she has taken herself out off of the internet. She doesn't have a current website and her GR and Amazon listings don't have any bio info. I know it's the same person because I've had both books from her for a long time, before she took everything down, and because you can't mistake the similarity in the cover designs. However, the GR book record for where she used her pseudonym lists both names and when you click on the psuedonym GR author page it does link back to her real name author page.

The author is Laurie Kellogg and she has also written under LL. Kellogg

For a task involving a certain number of pages read (600 in this case) we can post our completion as soon as we reach 600, correct? We do not have to wait for each team member to finish a book, if I’m recalling correctly.

Each team member must complete each task unless they use their pass. So you do need everyone to read a book for the task or pass. If they pass the task requirement still needs to be met before it is complete. There is only ONE pass per teammate each round.

Just now seeing this, but it looks like the book has been added to the series now. I would have allowed it though because the book page showed the series.

Four books need to be read to complete the task. If everyone reads a book - great. If someone passes on this task, someone would have to read two books. And so on, if more were to use their pass on that task.
