Hazel (x1f4d6hx1f4d6) | 2965 comments Kat our task
Task 25 - 125. Read 2 books initially published in the current month of any year with an average rating of 4.0 or higher.

I take it it’s 2 books each and not just 2 books? Does the year have to be agreed as a team or can it be different years?

It is two books each, and can be any year, not a team decision. (Though that might make an interesting task...) I got the first part of the question in the team thread and updated the task there. 😊

MountainKat | 31597 comments Shannon wrote: "Kat, for 73. Read a minimum of 1500 pages in books by the same author, teams decide author can it be a co-authored book?"

Yes, as long as the selected author is listed on the GR page for the book.

Naomi | 903 comments Task 24 - 112. Each teammate picks two books for another teammate from their regular (not special) to-read shelf that has been there over a year and the teammate picks one of those books to read. No pass for this task.

Do I pick 2 books total from my TBR and then my teammate picks one of them?

Heading to your team thread to answer questions. I think I messed up when I did the specifics for this task. Sorry!

Truitt_T | 805 comments I may have made a mistake this time. I picked a book from one of my teammates' suggested authors - so far, so good. I wasn't really familiar with the author, so I picked one that looked interesting and was on KU. What I failed to notice until I was ready to post it was the it's a co-authored book with another author I don't know.

May I still use it?

And thank you for all the time you spend to allow all of us to play!

As long as the selected author is listed on the GR page for the book, it will work. 😊

Would depend. Snow in NYC would work, snow on a mountain peak in the background, not so much. If you want a specific answer you can PM me the book or post it here.

Sorry for the delay, we were out. I've thought about this some and it really isn't different from a cover that shows a bride from the back with her veil and dress, you can't see skin, but the person is still there. With the mittens, the person is also still there.

And that second cover is red hands, not red gloves - you can see long fingernails there. 😉

At the top of the precis, it states:

"Opposites attract as frosty business partners become fake boyfriends in this Christmas gay romance!"

Now, I know Christmas isn't in winter in the southern hemisphere, but with the snow on the cover - that is more than enough.

Either way, it isn't a person. It is stone on the building.

Maggie Robinson (librariansdaughter77) | 1485 comments Kat - random question - I'm traveling tomorrow through Sunday. I'll have my phone with me - no laptop.

If I finish a read for our current task can I send one of my team mates my rating and review and ask them to post for me? Or will I need to post once I'm back home and can do it myself?

Thanks!

You can either use the browser on your phone instead of the app or ask a teammate to post for you. If possible, please keep the communication in your team thread so I can see that you've finished and your rating.
