Luna flicked her ears back "My father treated me way worse than that. His words are 'You have no place here. When I see you in the streets, you will suffer.' He really hated me. I tried to impress him but he nearly killed me." Luna said. She closed her eyes.

Luna stared at him "My father threatened to kill my friends or me. I don't honestly know why." Luna said. She wiped her tears away.

Luna buried her face in his chest, not wanting to hear anymore. It scared her and was probably likely to give her nightmares. Her ears went straight down and her tail moved away.

"Kal," Amira snapped. "You're scaring her."
"I'm not trying to," Kalil said.
"She's still young. You're terrifying her."
Kalil looked at Luna. "I'm sorry," he said, his voice sincere. "I can be a bit too detailed with my descriptions at times."
Luna looked up "It's okay but I really, really don't like hearing that." Luna said. She shivered.

Luna flicked her ears back up "All I want is my father dead. That's my desire and dream. I want it to become a reality someday. My only hobby? Playing with cat toys." Luna said. Her tail curled back around his arm.

"I don't care how he dies. He's a monster." Luna growled. Her eyes flickered to a dark green. Her tail started to move.

Luna closed her eyes with a growl. Her wild, violent self was raging while her father's voice laughed. Her hands clenched into fists.

Luna flicked her ears down, lashing her tail. She was using all her strength into pushing the violent, wild self down but failing. She opened her eyes, which were black, fully black.

"What's happening, Kal?" Amira asked.
Kalil shook his head. "I don't know."
"Step. Away." Luna growled yet her voice was overlapping with another voice that was dark. Her father was laughing in her head. Her hood turned black.

Luna pressed her hands against her head. growling. Her hoodie glitched from purple to black. This side was unseen.

Luna looked up "I'll be back, little moon child. We'll play again." Luna said and collapsed. Her hoodie went back to purple as did her eyes to green.

"N-no. T-that w-was my violent, scary side." Luna said, shivering. Her ears were down and she seemed scared. Her tail whacked the ground.

“Yeah... It hurts.” Luna said. Her ears flicked down and she burrowed into him, scared. She hated that side of her.

“Physically and mentally.” Luna said and burrowed in even further when she saw Izara. Her tail curled around his arm quietly. She didn’t like new people, especially people she hadn’t seen.

Luna’s only response was a squeak of fear. Her ears were completely down and she seemed a lot more scared and probably likely to bolt. Her tail twitched nervously.

Luna shook her head. She hated magic, to be honest since it was the thing that made her life so horrible. Her tail paused.

“In my mind.” Luna said. She inched out carefully and settled herself on his lap. Her tail flicked from side to side occasionally.

“No. I can’t stand magic because it was the main reason my life is so horrible.” Luna said. She did truly hate magic and everything about it. Her tail lashed quietly.

“That’s why people might not like me, because of my history with magic and everything having to do with it. Magic was what made me like this.” Luna said. She was afraid of magic itself and anyone with it, she couldn’t trust. Her tail smacked the ground.

Luna flicked her ears back up. “My friend Aurora said the same thing, with the sword. She murdered someone once.” Luna said. Her tail moved back and forth.

Luna drew out a small, sharp obsidian dagger “Like this? I keep this dagger in case if I am in danger.” Luna said. The dagger had an amethyst-studded hilt.
Luna sheathed the dagger and smiled right back. She let out a quiet yawn and fell asleep, her tail curling around his arm. Her chest rose and fell evenly, her tail twitching ever so slightly.

Luna started to purr. Her expression abruptly shifted to fear and she crouched down, shivering. Her nightmares were the worst.

Luna settled down. Her frightened expression softened into a relaxed one. The obsidian dagger had words on it.

The dagger's words said "Dearest Luna. Take this, as I miss you. Visit me soon -Iris.". The words were written in glowing purple ink. Luna's tail tip twitched.
