Snow barked worriedly and circled around Aurora. Aurora’s ears were back and her tail was moving quickly. Pain flared through her body in sharp bursts.
Kalil limped closer. "Aurora?" he asked. "What's going on?" His voice was calm, but he knew something was wrong. Something was causing Aurora pain, and he didn't know what.
Aurora let out a shriek of pain and curled into a ball. Her tail curled around her body. Snow barked again and sniffed Aurora.
Amira stared at Kalil. "Do something, Kal," she said.Kalil glanced at his sister. He didn't know what to know. He didn't know if Aurora would appreciate if he got too close to her. He didn't want to frighten her or scare her. He knew that when he was in pain or anxious, the slightest movement or noise could set him off.

Snow scrambled over to Kalil and nudged him to where Aurora was, barking worriedly as if to say “Help her!” Aurora shrieked in pain and curled up tighter.
Kalil walked over to Aurora, kneeling beside her. "Are you all right?" he asked. "Is there anything I can do?" His hands were shaking in concern, worry, anxiety, and fear.
Aurora mumbled something that sounded like “F-find my bag.” A small green bag was near a tree. Snow barked again and circled her.
Kalil walked over to the green bag, grabbing it. He brought it to Aurora, setting it on the ground beside her. "What do you need?" he asked.
Aurora flicked her tail. “L-look inside for a green bottle.” Aurora said. Inside the bag, there was a sharp knife, a little tuft of fox fur and a green bottle.
Kalil reached into the bag, pulling out the green bottle. "What do I do now?" he asked, keeping his voice calm. There was no reason to panic. Amira and Izara stayed back, simply watching.
Aurora struggled up, took the bottle and uncapped it then drank what appeared to look like glowing blue liquid. Aurora breathed and resettled her tail on the ground. Snow wagged her tail.
"Are you all right?" Kalil asked. He stayed by Aurora's side. "What happened?" He watched Aurora cautiously, making sure she was okay.
Aurora looked up at him “I had a panic attack. It happens a lot.” Aurora said. Snow padded over and sat next to Aurora.
Kalil nodded. "I understand perfectly," he said. "I get those sometimes." He ran his fingers through his hair. "They're quite annoying, and sometimes downright embarrassing. For me anyway."
Aurora flicked her tail. Snow barked cheerfully and wagged her tail. Aurora rummaged through her bag and pulled out a small locket.
"What's that?" Kalil asked, his voice coming out softer than he had initially intended. "It's pretty." Kalil sat on the ground, needing to rest and straighten his bad leg. He set his staff beside him.
Aurora opened the locket “Me and my friends. Dove Ciel and Luna Marila.” Aurora said. Inside the locket was her, a girl with white hair and red eyes. The other had green eyes and light purple hair, all of them smiling.
"Are those the ones who are in danger?" Kalil asked. "The ones you need to save?" He glanced at Aurora, massaging his right leg.Amira looked at the sky while Izara shifted from leg to leg.
Aurora looked to the north “Yes. They’re my best friends and sometimes I treat them as my sisters. They’re both very young. Luna is nine and Dove is ten.” Aurora said. Snow nodded.
“They’re very young,” Kalil said. “Why are they in danger?” He glanced at Aurora. “What are they in danger from?”
Aurora twitched her tail “From a gang led by a man named Ior.” Aurora said. Her voice had fear.
"Why does he have them?" Kalil asked. "What happened?" He kept his voice calm, though he understood why Aurora seemed so afraid.
Aurora looked back at him “Dove is a vampire and Luna is a half cat. Dove lives in the warehouse.” Aurora said. Snow sat down.
Kalil looked at Aurora. "How long has he had them?" he asked. He grabbed his staff, resting it on his legs. Izara sat against the trunk of a tree, needing to rest her legs.
Aurora flattened her ears “He doesn’t have them. Dove has been living at the warehouse since she became a vampire and Luna apparently lives... somewhere.” Aurora said. Snow laid down.
"Why are they in danger then?" Kalil asked. "If Dove lives there, then why would she be in danger from anything?" The entire situation was confusing him more and more.
(( I mean we can debate who claimed the Warehouse first..))

Aurora looked back to the north “Dove feeds on the members and is sometimes in danger.” Aurora said. Snow bared her teeth at Kalil.

Kalil looked at Snow, confused. "You have to go soon then, don't you?" he asked Aurora. "To save your friends?" Amira glanced at the sky.

Aurora sighed “Yes... But there’s a problem. The gang might not be there. Hopefully-“ Aurora stopped mid-sentence and gazed at the horizon. Luna was running towards them at full speed.
Kalil looked up, confused. He looked at Aurora. "Who's that?" he asked, on edge.Amira stepped closer to her brother and Aurora.
Luna screeched to a stop, panting. “Luna? How in the name of God are you here?” Aurora asked. “Ran-Here.” Luna panted and fell over.
Kalil stared at Luna in shock. He stood, leaning on his staff. He glanced from Luna to the north where Aurora had been looking. "How far away did she just run?" he asked Aurora.
Aurora looked at Luna and pulled her over “She ran all the way here from Lithen, which is about forty miles from here.” Aurora said. Luna was wearing a cat hoodie with what seemed like a tail.
"That's far," Kalil said, looking at Luna. "Is she okay?" He held his staff tightly, making sure not to lose his balance.Izara appeared on the side of Kalil.
Aurora brushed a light purple strand of hair from Luna’s face “She’s okay. Tired, but okay.” Aurora said. Snow padded over and sat near Luna.
"That's good," Kalil said. He sat down again. "How'd you meet them?" he asked Aurora. "Luna and Dove?"
Aurora looked back at him “I met Dove when she was three. I met Luna after that.” Aurora said. Luna opened her bright green eyes and blinked at him.
Kalil looked at Luna. He smiled. "Hi," he said. "I hear your name is Luna. Mine's Kalil."
Luna jumped out of Aurora’s arms and sat in front of him “Did Aurora tell you about me?” Luna asked. Her voice was like a bubbling brook with a slight lilt to it.
“She did,” Kalil told Luna. He smiled at her. She seemed…sweet. Sweeter than most people he interacted with.
Luna’s purple tail whipped behind her. She was sweet, yes but hidden underneath that, she was very very different. However, she smelled like peaches and cream.
Kalil's eyes widened. He slowly began to approach her. "Are you all right?" he asked, concerned. "What's wrong?" He didn't get too close to her because he didn't know how comfortable she was.
