25.8 – Shelby’s Task: Things to Look Forward To!!!

For this task you will need to read two books using two different options.
REQUIRED: State the options you chose.

1. TRAVEL –

Read a book that is set somewhere you’ve always wanted to go (real, not imagined), but never been. The only caveat: it CANNOT be somewhere in your home country. For United States residents this will only apply to your state. So if you’re a resident of California, you could read a book set in New York if that’s your dream location. 50% of the book must take place in that location and be clear from either the description or the book's home page.
REQUIRED: State your home location, the location you’ve chosen, and that you've never been there.

I read Crick Crack, Monkey by Merle Hodge, set in Trinidad.

I live in the continental U.S. I have never been out of the continental U.S. I have always wanted to go to the Caribbean islands, especially those off the coast of Venezuela, and the Creole of Trinidad-Tobago interest me.

2. FAMILY --

I have 6 nieces and nephews, aged 6, 6, 4, 3, 2, and 2 months. Read any book from a series that matches one or a combination of their ages.

I read Ill Wind by Nevada Barr, # 3 in the Anna Pigeon series.
