I picked this up and Wow, it was a completely different read, hot Dragons and cowboys Tigers and Wolfs what's not to love, not to mention a great story beneath it, The two main characters lecked a little zing during the leadup... but after bar dancing the zing was there in full force

Here is your next task!Task 13 - 58. Read 6 books published in the year one of the teammates joined RRRC, teams decide which teammate.
You can find the date everyone joined RRRC (not GR) in the group member list. Then select which teammate you are using and read 6 books initially published in the year they joined RRRC. For this task you will be using the initial publication date. If there is a date listed at the top of the edition's page use it, otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the selected teammate and the year they joined RRRC in your completion posts.
Yes, we did choose 2018 - shouldn't be too hard to find something. Especially after the last task’s cowboy challenge! 😆
Task 13: Read 6 books published in the year one of the teammates joined RRRC, teams decide which teammate. (CB-2018)
Rafe: A Buff Male Nanny259 pages/GR
How it fits: published September 26, 2018
Date completed: 4/19/21
Rating: *4.5 STARS*
I really loved this one. It should have been a whole *5 STARS* from me. Rafe was amazing! I wanted to just eat him up. Perfect blend of strong and sensitive, braun and brain. He was so nurturing and you wouldn't have though it with him being 6'5" and tatted up. And I think that's what I liked the most about him.
I loved the kids. They always made me smile. Loved the way that Rate was with them. *swoon* Totally made my ovaries explode!
I really felt for Sloan, I know that her life couldn't have been easy with being so smart and not really finding a place to fit in. I'm glad that she was able to find her tribe! She thought she was weak, but she was much stronger than she knew. I admired her.
So, all this praise, I'm sure you are wondering why I took off the 1/2 star. It was the narrator! Not a fan. Nope! She mangled the voice for Rafe who was supposed to be sexy and burly with a hint of Boston. It was not whatever she was doing. And honestly it just messed up the whole book for me. I really wished I had read the book instead of listening to it.
I know that when I read it again (which I will, because I loved it), I will make sure not to do it on audio!

I enjoyed this one more than I thought that I would. I thought it was interesting to have a female lead with autism. I love how the author only came out and said that she was autistic once but the way the author wrote the character's actions and internal musings were descriptive enough to get the picture.
I thought the story was good, very engaging, and made me want to read more of this author's work as soon as possible. She's a new author to me but I'm sure I'll be reading more of her stuff soon!

Another good one! I'm on a roll this week. This is a brand new author for me, but I am now a definite fan. This was so such a guilty pleasure I enjoyed every second of it. I have to admit that I it was difficult to hear so much salty language in the beginning but I got used to it.
I really just loved this family. Hated that everything Big South and Jo went through to be together but boy was it worth it. I would have liked a bit more of an epilogue but hopefully, I'll see more of them in future books.

This was really good but way too short! (I mean a know it wasn't short but I just wanted more!) I wanted to have more of Grayson and Nora. I had so many questions at the end. Is that the last we'll see of them? I so wanted to know what the future held for them.
But, alas, I had to turn the last page but I did so with a smile on my face. Loved those kids as they were just the cutest. I wasn't happy with the big fight that caused the strife but thought the resolution and the ending were sweet. (oh, those kids, melt my heat why don't you!)
I've never read anything by this author before but I'm sure I'll read her again. I loved the narrators on this one. They did an awesome job. And I love Kai Kennicott's voice. *sigh* He gets me all tingly. :) I thought he perfectly got the growly sexiness that Grayson exuded. And yeah Wen Ross wasn't bad either. LOL, seriously though, I'm always more willing to give an audiobook a try when I see it's these two narrating together.

Ahhh Mencheres the Magnificent!!!!!!
Really been waiting for an excuse to read this book and it didn't let down....
I have to admit i have been a more than a little bit in love with Mencheres.Kira was Brilliant for him... Also loved Bones Vlad and Cat's Cameo's
I brought all the dark prince books for future reads a while back they was on offer, read Night huntress until book four when it was on Audible escape... but found this and first drop of crimson (which i read back in Jan i think) on youtube... And the Next night huntress book.
ah got it! I read the night huntress books before I got into audio and then I heard Tavia do Bones' voice and I was taken aback because it wasn't the voice I was doing in my head. So, I decided from that moment on, I had to either start a series on audio or I wouldn't ever listen to it on audio. Once I make up my mind how someone is supposed to sound I can't change it. LOL
HAHAHAHA! LOL, it all sounds British to me. But I guess I just thought it would be deeper or something. LOL, I'm never going to be able to listen to those books again without thinking about confused British pirates. ROFL. Too funny. When I was in college, there was a British girl on the floor of my dorm who said that all Americans sounded like they were speaking with a southern twang. I'm from up north so I have no drawl but she said to her ear we all sounded the same...Very country! LOL
yea deeper... for sure... I think he was based on spike from Buffy or Billy Idol... it's the squeaky sarcastic bad boy... I watch friends ect and they just sound normal... it's only if a British person makes an appearance alongside them I hear the difference I don't think I sound cockney but apparently I say lundon rather than London as an example... yet I think I sound proper posh.
my best friend is a Scouser (Liverpool) if she's drunk even I can't understand her.., that's a bloody awful accent (Cheryl Cole)
YES, there is no way I'd know the difference between your lundon and London. You'd sound proper posh to me for sure!!
