Hmmm... It probably is not for everyone, I just finished it yesterday and I adored it! The writing and the characterisation was spectacular and I am basking in the rare (for me) event of a book living up to its hype.

What it is definitely not however is fast to read. 500 pages and I am usually a fast reader so I thought it would be fine, but this book is very rich in detail and it was not fast to read at all.
