Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo! Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
2b ~ Post your team's stats on the Captain's Log prior to requesting a stamp
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

Hi - I'm here. I'm horrible with names. I like reading to the nines. I can be captain but if someone else wants it, that's fine.

I can also Captain if needed but I'm more than good with BarbaraAnn as captain. I have a vacation to Cancun planned for last week of April and I will have limited internet there. I doubt we'll be near a Bingo that soon but I'll be prepared if we are.

as I'm looking out my window at lots and lots of snow, Cancun sounds wonderful!
Lots of snow here too. We got 15" dumped on us in one day. Then for 2 weeks after we added 3-4 more inches a week. Our streets are getting narrow. But that's life in Massachusetts.
I keep telling myself that this is a great season to sit in a comfy couch and read with a warm blanket over me and my dog next to me

Reading to the nines has 2 votes so I'd say go with that, but if anyone has objections, any of the options would work for me.

Is anyone else playing Game Night's Turf Wars? I'm reading a bunch of re-reads this week, so I'll pick my free space book next week. I way overcommitted my reading this week, so I'm trying not to spend too much time on the computer. I want to say I'll read Wicked All Night, but I'm not positive I'll get a copy from a library soon.
That's one of the good things about this game. There's plenty of time.
For my Free Space, I'm going to read White Trash Zombie Apocalypse. It's a cute series and a lot of fun.The first call was Book Boyfriend(s)

the midwest definitely has its charms. Today, there's small areas of grass among the snow. dead grass, but definitely a hopeful sign for spring.For Book Boyfriend, I'll read Radiance

Can you believe that no one has tagged Wild Sign Book Boyfriend yet?But, as I've pre-ordered it, and the series is #68 on the UF list, I will read it for my Free Space book as soon as it comes out. I know that's about 3 weeks out, so I'll make sure to keep up with my others so I don't fall into the too-far-behind category!
I have Blood Fury out from the library right now, and it is tagged Book Boyfriends by 4 people, so that's my new Book Boyfriend, and my first up book next week.

Book Boyfriend Review - Radiance by Grace Draven ***** 2/27/21I initially read this about 3 years ago so this will be my 1 re-read under the rules. I originally read this 3 years ago and thought it was a wonderful book. Reading it again this year cemented that idea. Brishen and Ildiko were both of royal blood but far enough down in the line that neither of them would ever rule their respective kingdoms. For that reason, they were set up in an arranged marriage. They were of different races and each thought the other was ugly, but they tried to make their marriage work and ended up deeply in love. Of course, there are obstacles, but I think those will become more apparent in the sequel. I hope to read the next one soon.

Free Space Review - White Trash Zombie Apocalypse by Diana Rowland **** 3/1/21I really like this series. At heart it's a sweet story. Angel has been getting her life together bit by bit. She was originally made a zombie after dying due to an overdose and I think a car wreck (happened in the first book). She had to get a job that would give her access to brains, so she started the job in a mortuary. She's been slowly bringing her life around ever since. She has a boyfriend (also a zombie) and in this book was studying for her GED test to graduate high school. She has a supportive boyfriend (also a zombie) and a lot of the humor for this book came from her being a zombie baby mama (she was feeling very maternal about a zombie she had created by biting him. Angel is definitely coming into her own and i'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Review: This world continues to be a win for me. I don't generally read MM, but I find the author does a decent job and really gets to the heart of the relationship. I have noticed that the Legacy books tend to be a bit simpler, relationship-wise, as compared to the Brotherhood books. Those Brothers aren't interested in letting anything be simple! But the trainees are much better at that, so overall it was an enjoyable read, and I plan to continue with the series!

Wicked All Night is the one I said that I didn't know when I would get a copy of it, so I couldn't commit to it for Free Space. In post #28 I mentioned that I would read Blood Fury for my Book Boyfriend book. :)
Hey! Just wanted to let y'all know I'm a little behind on reading, but I'm playing catch-up right now. I got engaged this past Saturday and my partner surprised me with my best friends that I hadn't seen in over a year being there so I didn't get much reading done! I'll be on top of it soon though, I promise! =)

I haven't had time to look for a sci-fi book yet. My former mother in law passed away. That's the 3rd grandparent my daughter has lost in a year and it kind of pushed her over tbe edge. Plus my current MIL had a hip replacement that kept popping out and had to have a second surgery. But i am almost finished with my free space book.
