I'm ok skipping as long as the author doesn't rely too much on past situations to set up the current book. If everything is super inter-connected, I have to start at Book 1. Most contemporary romance series haven't been an issue for me, but sometimes military/suspense ones are hard, especially if it's the same baddies throughout the series.

I know you said politics isn’t your thing, but let us know if you’d like to join us :) I think we should be finished in a few days!
I’m taking part in a reading sprint for DEAR day, so that’ll help! https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Book 2 had a lot of copy and paste from book 1. they overlapped so much I focused on the difference instead of reading every passage in book 2. I expect the third book to be totally fresh in comparison. I'm reading a short reverse harem for now.
As I read this author's books - I have a strong feeling the laws of logic do not apply. (view spoiler)
I'm definitely liking Linc. I wonder what a Linc certified first date would be. And I want to know how all his break-ups are so great his ex gf's are still friendly.
Sorry, I'm so behind!!!! I wasn't getting notifications for the last two days either! I figured no one had started yet 🤦🏽♀️. They just started up again for me. Weird.
Don't worry about it, I didn't realize anyone had started either so I'm also behind! We can start today? The notifications thing happens to me all the time 🙄 I have so many issues with the GR interface! I just tried to post a review and I included a spoiler tag in only one particular place and then continued the review spoiler free but nothing after the spoiler tag got posted. So annoying
I started last night. Only got about 3 chapters in before I passed out, but I freaking love these MCs. I really hope the author does a good job with them 🤞🏽
I'm upto chapter 12, and I'm loving it! The MCs are great, the small town charm is heavy, the writing is funny and the scene with Linc's nieces and nephews was so cute <3
I didn’t get around to it yesterday :/ I’ll try to read today. Have a busy weekend too so I might be very slow reading this book
When she meets Sunshine 🤣🤣🤣"Try squishing her face and telling her she's a pretty, pretty girl"
🤣🤣🤣 I'm dying. It's too adorable.
YES- very cute! I'm loving how she's warming up to the small town life and getting into everybody's business routine. The girls night with Elle/Ellen? I can't remember her name, was so nice!
I'm done!! I really enjoyed it although towards the end it got a little draggy- there were too many chapters of nothing happening and then a whole lot of drama- but overall, it worked and it was a very feel good read. Loved the small town setting and all the people but I was kinda annoyed with Luke. If his animosity was because long, long ago Linc dared to ask out the girlfriend he broke up with and he's held on to it for many years - it was very juvenile. Maybe if I had read the Luke's book I would have connected with that more.
But anyway, 4 stars from my side!
I'm way behind you 🤣. I've been sneaking a chapter or two in between other things, so I'm only about halfway. I have wondered how the author was going to keep this going for how long the book is. The small town feel of it is just really spot on, though, so I'm really enjoying that aspect of it.
