*heart eyes emoji* I sighed in pleasure the whole way through Finally Mine. It may have taken Gloria years, but she managed to find the strength to change her circumstances. Seeing her bloom was real pleasure. And Aldo! Yummy yummy Aldo. Even when he was feeling sorry for himself, he was trying to put Gloria's needs first. This was a bit long, but the plot kept moving along nicely and the end will definitely give you warm fuzzies!.

What to say about this book... That first chapter grabbed me and wouldn't let me go. So much emotion was packed into the first bit and it continued. Each word had a purpose, was full of emotion. You couldn't help but cheer for Gloria. God, I fell in love with her. She's so strong and resilient and amazing. And Aldo. GAH!!! I loved him. He was the perfect book boyfriend.

Lucy Score writes amazingly. I highly, highly recommend Finally Mine. I can't wait to see what Lucy comes out with next!

Let me say this first, I love Ina Moretta. She is the person we all know in life at one time or another. I know this women. I grew up knowing this women. Shes loud, opinionated, has her own style and loves her son. She just has a unique way of showing it! She stole my heart in this story and made me laugh and love.
Ok now I can move to how this story moved me. Normally, I look beyond the story to see whats underneath or if its relatable. Well in this book there is nothing you have to look for, it

Oh Goodreads, why dont you allow me more stars? Or maybe some sparkles or fairy dust? This book is the companion (although a stand-alone) to Pretend Youre Mine, Which was my first Lucy Score adventure. That book will always be my favorite Lucy book, just like remembering your first kiss still makes your heart leap a little even decades later. But this storythis hero and heroinetheyre just too perfect for words. Read this book. Read Pretend Youre Mine. Read them both again. Try to decide which ...more

Let's go back a few years - we met Luke and Harper from Pretend Your Mine- in the background were these two characters you meet yet think about once the book is over, insert Aldo and Gloria.

Aldo is a great guy, a soldier, hero and friend. Gloria is a loving woman who feels deeply and has a previous toxic relationship. Aldo and Gloria have circled around each other for years. Never being on the same page. They fight - for their chance, for themselves, for their relationship. I loved that they

A beautiful story about a military man who loses a leg and a woman who stayed too long in an abusive relationship. Can they put aside their baggage and finally let love lead them? This book runs in the same timeline as Pretend Your Mine so you'll get some repeat scenes if you've read it, otherwise this can be a stand alone and you won't miss anything. But either way you are going to love this book. It's got some angst, it's got some humor, it's got the feels, everything you want in a book for ...more

Lucy Score is one of my favorite authors; I will one click her everyday of the week! The first book I read of Lucys was Pretend Your Mine when it was first released in 2015. I was going through a particularly hard time in my personal life and those few hours helped me tremendously. Pretend Your Mine featuring Luke and Harper is one of the few books I have read more than once. To say I was super surprised and excited to read a follow-up is an understatement. I even stayed awake the night it ...more

And she scores with this testament to the human spirit. Lucy Score brings home small-town America in a picturesque manner and its completely irresistible. A true joy from start to finish. Arlo and Gloria stole my heart! And secondary characters who are such a valuable asset to this story with their friendship and support that cannot be overshadowed.

My dreams came true with the release of Finally Mine. 2 1/2-ish years ago I had an Amazon book recommendation for a book called Pretend Youre Mine by Lucy Score. I loved the blurb and the reviews were good, so I purchased. As I read Pretend Youre Mine over the next few days, I fell in love with the characters and the town of Benevolence; this story and the characters in it stayed with me. I wanted more and Ive waited 2 1/2 years for this return to Benovolence. It felt like putting on your

Three years after Pretend You're Mine, Lucy Score takes us back to the town of Benevolence and the characters we know and love.

If you read Pretend You're Mine, you know the basics of Gloria and Aldo's story. Even knowing the basics, though, I was blown away chapter after chapter as events unfolded.

I have loved all the heroines Lucy Score writes, but Gloria has quickly become my favorite. Watching her loved ones rallying around her to lift her up was amazing, but seeing her learn to be strong and

There has never been nor will there ever be a book to reach the level of perfection that Lucy Score has achieved with Finally Mine!

Gloria's character and her story touched me on such a deep level that I had trouble separating her story from my own. And I bet that I am not alone in this thinking because unfortunately, Gloria is so many of us. Reading her story was hard at times. I had to step away before the anxiety became too much but it was also a wonderfully beautiful reminder that women like

Finally Mine is a Lucy Score return to Benelovence book. Gloria Parker and Aldo Moretta fell in love during Pretend Youre Mine (Luke Garrison and Harper Wilde), but now you get the true full story of Gloria and Aldo. Read how they fall in love, but fight it, because life is scary and there are no guarantees when the heart is engaged.
Moving on from a bad relationship is never easy and Gloria spent ten years being told her worth. Aldo was deployed, came home a hero, but lost part of his leg
WOW... Ive read many books and reviews and Ive read a bunch of crappy, horrible, distasteful, plots I shouldnt be shocked of anything anymore. But this plot line in this book made me so sad, disappointed and actually shocked on how someone can see a person ( you say you love, nonetheless)being abused physically and psychologically and do absolutely nothing and even say its not their business. I cant even give words to my thoughts and feelings right now. This book is just so wrong. ...more

Finally! Finally Mine!

The long-awaited return to Benevolence was worth every minute. Aldo and Glorias story needed to be told. A story fraught with emotion, unending hope, the power of love, and the knowledge that through endurance (mind and body) comes great strength.

For the purest enjoyment, read Pretend Youre Mine, the first novel, before Finally Mine. Read both! Youll want to live in Lucy Scores Benevolence.

If you arent yet, this is an author to follow. Score delivers, with every single

WOW, just WOW! What a wonderful story of Aldo and Gloria. The writing was awesome. The difficult topics of abuse and Aldos own struggles were expressed so well through dialogue and self talk. Your perceptions were spot on and so thoroughly explored. So many characters with their own unique personalities made for an exciting (cant put this book down) read.
I received this ARC for a honest review. GREAT JOB❤❤❤

This book is another great small town romance by the phenomenal Lucy Score. In Finally Mine, we return to Benevolence and immerse ourselves in Aldos and Glorias story. This book is incredibly written with well developed characters and the depth of emotion is just extraordinary. We revisit with our favorite Benevolence residents, all as we watch Glorias and Aldos second chance at love and life unfold. They both have a lot of personal fears, self doubt and difficult past experiences to overcome, ...more

"Pretend You're Mine" was the first Lucy Score book that I ever read. I have been fortunate enough since then to have become a member of her ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) team, and am so happy to have been given the chance to read Finally Mine!

I have to admit, I wish I could have gone back to read PYM before reading FM, but due to time constraints (not to mention the SNEAK ATTACK of this book on us unsuspecting readers!), I was not able to. (I did find a paperback copy of PYM at a used bookstore

I didn't know I wanted Gloria and Aldo's story until it was given to me. I read and loved Pretend You're Mine where we first meet Gloria and Aldo and we see their relationship start. I thought I was given enough details and I was totally satisfied with it. Then I read Finally Mine, which happens at the same time as Pretend You're mine and runs parallel to Harper and Luke's story. I loved getting a more in depth look at Gloria and Aldo and really having a front row seat to their relationship. I ...more

I found 'Pretend You're Mine' in October. Read it. Loved it. Thought to myself - I'd really like to know Aldo & Gloria's story. Imagine how happy I was to find that I didn't have to wait 3 years for their story! Mere weeks and ta-da! 'Finally Mine' fell right onto my iPad. Although not entirely necessary, it is most helpful to read 'Pretend You're Mine' first, as much of this one parallels the timeline.
Well edited.

Finally Mine is a beautifully complex story about loves second chances. The story begins with some unsettling revelations about our heroine, Gloria Parker. She settled for the wrong man, but she's taking hold of her life and making some much needed changes. I love her bold decision to finally stand up for herself and make herself a priority. Every person needs to remember number one and not get lost in the everyday shuffle of taking care of other people. She finally pulls away from her jackhole ...more

Gloria and Also's story is concurrent with Harper and Luke's from "Pretend You're Mine."

This book was really something. Gloria's growth as a domestic abuse survivor is written so well. It is definitely the best depiction I have read. Aldo is the hero who waits for her, gets deployed and then injured. Aldo has to deal with a lot after his injury from feeling like he is not enough, to the physical and emotional pain of recovery from a war injury.

I love these two! Their chemistry is off the chart.

Aldo Moretta is my absolute favorite book boyfriend. I have never read a character who loves so absolutely with his whole self. He has been in love with Gloria Parker since high school. Unfortunately, Gloria was in an abusive relationship for years and Aldo, out of respect and self-preservation, kept his distance until Gloria had the strength to remove herself from a bad situation.

We first met Aldo and Gloria in Pretend You're Mine. This book runs along the same timeline as that book but from

Finally Mine

If there is a better fictional hero than Aldo Moretta, I sure haven't found him yet. The perfect combo of surly and cocky while still being the best friend everyone wants to have and the supportive, caring boyfriend every woman deserves.

Gloria is a dynamic heroine who realistically represents so many survivors of abuse. You can't help but fall in love with her and cheer her on as she grows and heals throughout the novel.

Lucy Score never disappoints, and this story is no exception.

Sometimes life can leave you on the ground looking up. That's how Gloria felt after 10years of beatings and abuse by her husband. When she finally gets the nerve up to leave him for good, he almost kills her. She is saved by a mysterious woman who just rolled into town. With her husband in prison, Gloria moves back in with her mother and tries to put her life back together.

This is an amazing story. It was a little difficult for me at first but I powered through it and I am so grateful that I did. Gloria was a battered woman who finally stood up for herself and left her abuser. The descriptions of her past and the way in which she has dealt with everything brought the story to life and the characters gained depth through all their experiences. I also fell in love with Aldo. He went through a lot as well and the fact that they came through it all together was good ...more

So glad to finally read Aldo and Glorias story! This story is heartbreaking and heartwarming. Gloria is ready to escape her life of domestic violence and in the process almost loses her life. Harper who had stepped in to help her soon becomes a friend, something that Gloria has lost over the last ten years. To watch her grow and accept support was so heartwarming.
Aldo has had a long time crush on Gloria and makes his intentions known to date her when he comes back from six months
