Only read two so far. These are my ratings:Superior Novel
The Book of Accidents by Chuck Wendig. 5 stars. I spent my high school years in the same area that this novel occurs. His descriptions of the rock fields (terminal moraine, where the glaciers stopped and dumped tons of rocks) is so correct! Cool pictures of rock fields - https://www.google.com/maps/uv?pb=!1s...
The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix. 4 stars. I am a huge fan of Grady Hendrix, and this is not one of his better books. You need to be a follower of slasher films to get all the nuisances in this book about final survivors. I am not!
First Novel:
Rabbits by Terry Miles. 4 stars. An interesting game that plays with multiverse theory. As a long-time geocache player, I appreciate this story. Although, I have never tumbled into another dimension - that I know of!
2022 Bram Stoker Winners: Superior Achievement in a Novel: My Heart Is a Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones. This author is on a roll. He won last year's prize with The Only Good Indians.
Superior Achievement in a First Novel: Queen of Teeth by Hailey Piper
Superior Achievement in a Young Adult Novel: The River Has Teeth by Erica Waters
