How was that book, Bruce? I’ve had it for a long time, just haven’t read it yet.

Eva (bookworm_eve) Just finished Count to Three by T.R. Ragan

3 stars, entertaining, but not what would normally please me when it comes to reading a thriller/detective with a psycho as a bad guy!
I missed the details... and the ending, where multiple cases were solved, felt unnatural to me.

I'll be reading Freshwater sometime in the near future; I liked The Death of Vivek Oji but I have heard Freshwater is much better so I'm really looking forward to it.

Lance Charnes (lcharnes) | 421 comments Vanishing Act gives us an intriguing character in an unusual and well-realized setting, then fails to stick the landing with a plot that didn't spend enough time in the cookpot over the campfire. This is the first of nine books in the series, so there's hope that the author works out his plotting problems in subsequent episodes. Three lake trout.

You have to at least try one Campion novel. The casebook had some interesting stories, but they are not really representative of her nicely-done Campion books.
