In regards to a conversation from a few days ago about reading either Michael Crichton, Dennis LeHane, or Cormac McCarthy. I instead, got three books from one writer that were mostly known for their movie adaptations, and just this morning I got a notification that these books are going to get official audio books with the first one coming around Christmas.

I am talking about Vampire Hunter D

Vampire Hunter D Volume 2: Raiser of Gales

Vampire Hunter D Volume 3: Demon Deathchase

All three of them have a omnibus pack that came out October 26th, but I will not read the first one until Christmas when the audiobook comes out.

I finished Last Seen Alive by Joanna Schaffhausen and was blown away. 5 Stars!
Most of you know this finicky reader does not like to read a series out of order, but when this arc landed in my lap I went for it. I don't think I've ever picked up a story at this point and not missed a beat, but I did with this one. The author is that good. I'm backing up to read the first four and will be searching out more from a new to me fav author. My Review

I'm with you Jonetta, Shattered is the best in the Max Revere series, and one of the best in the Lucy Kincaid series.

Sharon, I literally couldn’t put this book down. I loved the dynamics of Lucy & Max’s teaming. She didn’t have to diminish either one of them to make it work.
